Ways to Diminish WBS Soak Stink?

Hey guys I've recently switched to a no simmer tek and really like it except for the ridiculous stink the WBS develops.
I assume the grains are fermenting and know this isn't a big issue from a utility standpoint. But how do you guys deal with it? Am I ok to throw a tiny bit of cologne in the soak water? Should I soak in the fridge? To be honest when I rinse them off over the sink I want to vomit. I know I could just simmer with no soak if I wanted to avoid the smell, but the ease of the no simmer method isn't worth it.
Maybe I just have to deal with it.
Any thoughts or techniques on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
edit - i have been soaking for 48 hours but that might be overkill

Use millet, milo, or rye.

Haha....when I first started I thought the same thing.
After a while you get used to it.
Now it just smells like work to me....lol.

But I would run into the same problem if I soaked for an extended period wouldn't I? I prefer the no simmer
Also the price has been an issue in the past, but I'm now in a rural area and could probably get close to the 18 for 40lbs i pay for wbs.

I have a pretty strong gag reflex so I am admittedly a little more a bitch about it than I should be. But nothing I have ever done in mycology has made me gag except getting my face near that fucking shit. Was hoping for a "yea I put this natural soap in the soak it kills the smell" or something along those lines
I'll just have to live with it

After 4 rounds of WBS prep (switched to rye now) it seems like the smell is permanently imbued into both my pressure cooker and the stock pot I simmer in.
I'm sure it will go away the more I use rye. But I do know the stink you're talking about. Never really bothered me though.

It doesn't clump, i wash it extremely well. It would be hard to tell my grains and simmered grains apart except the lack of exploded kernels and strong smell of shit in the air. The tek works I just want a solution for the smell. Clearly the time is the issue so maybe I'll not dry them out as well and go with the 24 hour. I never had this problem with a 12 hour soak.
