I love closed eye visuals

This is becoming my favourite part of trip lately. Headphones and CEV's. It's like another plane of existence. Colors that don't exist. Flashes and ideas and a sense of connectedness to universe. I am going to spend a bigger percent of trip exploring it. You really get immersed in it, in a way you don't get when your eyes are open IMO.

love it! i did that last night for about an hour of my trip, anyway. didn't use headphones but i have a bose speaker system and an infinity sub in my living room. i laid down on the floor on a huge pillow in between the two bose speaks and felt divine. my CEVs will often go with the music i am listening to. it's like iTunes visualizer but way cooler.

I've tripped multiple times just to listen to music and bathe in the cev. It's amazing to when coming down from acid, it's like tiny pieces start forming together, to form the blackness, and i'll see shit moving till it connects like a puzzle, and each time a fragment fits in place and stops, i feel my body start shutting down to enter sleep mode.

I definitely know what you mean, dude!
CEV's can get really interesting or strange with headphones on. Sometimes music can fuck with me while I'm tripping, and when the music has strange effects (like stereo in The Beatles, noises in Globular songs, and hidden tunes in Boards of Canada tunes) it can sometimes manipulate my closed eye visuals, or trip in general.
On LSD, my CEV's are usually very playful and abstract, with strange shapes and colors. I see a lot of half-circles, for some strange reason.
Good luck to you exploring the nature of CEV's, I find it to be a difficult yet rewarding task. I discovered some amazing things about the nature of my psilocybin CEV's!

I have only done DMT when peaking on LSD so I was pretty cautious about amount. I want to try aya because it was over so fast. I would like to see some entities too. LSD I feel a presence or intelligence but don't see anything. Same with mushrooms. I love Boards of Canada that is my perfect LSD soundtrack. I forgot to add that closed eye land is not a fun place to be if the trip goes bad even though your first instinct may be to go hide under blanket.

Closed eyes are either extremely blissful for me, or just uncomfortable. Usually when I'm not having the best trip and I close my eyes yet get weird hahahaha

 Found another BoC fan! Awesome!
I always love listening to The Campfire Headphase on LSD, it seems to capture the bliss and shifting beauty of an acid trip perfectly in my opinion!

OP should try DXM MXE or K. You just lay down and look at crazy CEV's for seemingly hours. Boards of Canada is great tripping music. I even get CEV's from weed

Almost my only way of riding that train anymore. I love the CEV journey!

I find that my most successful closed eye visuals, strangely is on MDMA. Its like something else. On Mushrooms i find that there are a lot of rainbows and colours, but in such complexity it is hard to make out. On LSD my closed eye visuals just feel like i am dreaming.
On MDMA.. has anyone else experienced it? It is amazing, i would dance at a night club the whole time with my eyes closed. My last experience with MDMA visuals.... I closed my eyes and saw a rainbow blob in the distance, it gradually grew closer and closer (all these visuals move slowly and controlled). The blob grew into many jigsaw puzzle pieces which assembled in front of me, they were blank. Soon after, the edges of each piece turned to a mirror and fell through and shot off into the distance leaving just the jigsaw pieces floating in a black space. Then they morphed together into a spiral, the edges of the spiral turned into footballs floating around.
Has anyone else experienced these on MDMA? Id love to experience this soon
