In my area I only find allenii.  Cyans have already lost.  :shrug:

I don't necessarily think one's beating out the other, so to speak, but the allenii do seem to fruit easier. That alone could maybe skew our perception.

The ovoids seems to be even broader in their fruiting parameters.
