Holy crap I cant believe I brushed this game off for all those years. I looked at it and said.
"Stupid hipster 50's campy shit, that game has to be crap"
Man was I wrong, Pick this shit up! Its an epic 1st person shooter with RPG elements but doesnt make you live in another world like a fucking shmuck.
PICK THIS SHIT UP I got it for 75% off too

I REEEEALLY liked the overall atmosphere and look of the game, but for some reason I wasn't able to get into the combat mechanics which led to me getting bored about halfway through..
I can definitely see why a lot of people loved it though.

Welcome to 2007.
I didn't play it until about a year ago either. That is probably the most immersive, inspired game I have ever played.

First Bioshock, IMO, was head and shoulders the best in the series. The other two are still the shiznit, but the first was...IDK, I don't have words for it. It was just fucking amazing.

Did you buy just the first bioshock?
Bioshock Infinite came with the 1st and 2nd Bioshock. I don't know if it still does though.

It sounded like spoilers to me.

I cant really spoil anything if you already played the first bioshock. To be honest the story revolves around rapture but brings more so a carry over of dewitt and elizabeths previous experience from columbia and extends the experience. Besides, theres not much to tell, the first dlc part of burial at sea doesnt tell much, seems to just lead into the next dlc as far as I know, which Im eagerly anticipating.
Btw, FANTASTIC graphics omg
