Just a small-scale cube grow

Using a spore syringe labeled 'GWM' I inoculated 4 jars, half of which contaminated (was dumb and impatient and kept moving the jars around to check the myc growth). I dunked and rolled the other two a few days apart, here's the first cake birthed into my PMP: wasn't too prolific, but did produce some hefty fruits.
I'll update again once the other cake gets going, or if there's a second flush. I liked how white the pins looked at first, makes me want to grow a true albino variety!
Cake #2:

EDIT: 2nd flush pics. Cake #1 had a much nicer pinset this time around

Cake #2 is also moving along, better pinset than the first flush also.

Since there were another few cakes inoculated using a syringe from the same vendor (Alacabenzi), I figured I might as well just use this same thread. Cake #1:

Cake #2:

Two cake harvest:

That big one does look cool! Makes me want to try some albino's as well. Too bad you did not get alot of fruits.
What is.GWM, and did you print them?

Yup, here's a picture of the second cake.
Even less prolific, but still pretty to look at. The 3rd cake which I thought was contaminated is being dunked now, birthing it tonight

I'm guessing you have a PMP with bubble wand and all? Your best bet would be a SGFC and with that I believe you could get a better pinset.

Yes, I have a PMP. While you're probably right, I don't exactly have the space for one right now and wanted to keep it small. I will be moving up to an SGFC pretty soon though. Also, I think this variety tends to produce large fruits rather than prolific pinsets. I got pretty satisfying results when I grew GTs in my PMP. Thanks for the advice.

Yeah I bought it thinking that they were still a sponsor and was displeased to find out that they weren't, after I had already made the order. I learned my lesson, and thanks!

ok well now time to help ya out get your cakes o a piece of tinfoil, they should not be on top of your claykeep an ey on yur moisture on the surfac of your cakes, mist when it loses it' glisten. if you cake shows signs of moisture loss(like the bruisng it has now) ad you have pins try sit them on a saucer of water over night. i'd suggest snapping pics of your fruiting chamber as it looks like it could perform better.

I did notice the bluing on the cakes. Water saucer is a good idea, thank you cronicr. And yeah, I'm not sure about the tin foil thing, people seem to be divided on the issue. I've tried both and I honestly don't really notice a difference between the two methods, although using foil keeps the hydroton clean and free of debris.
Edit: Here's a side view of my PMP, I use a plastic cover over that hole and the hole on the other side to adjust humidity.

Kratom is related to the coffee plant. In small doses it can be energizing (depending on the strain), In large doses it is sedative.
Kratom’s most commonly know medicinal benefits and effects include energy, mental focus, motivation, heighten desire to work, relief from anxiety, relief from physical pain and body aches, depression and an overall sense of well-being. Middle aged and older persons claim that Kratom makes their body and mind feel young again.
I have been taking it for 7 years, and it has saved my life. No lie. And no need for pills.
