What do you do for a living?

Just curious what you Shroomery folks do or want to do for a living. I'm currently in college but I can't see myself getting a job with a boss, deadlines, and work that I don't directly care about. I have a wide range of interests including astronomy, biology (especially plants and fungi), music, writing (novels), and philosophy. So if you have any good ideas, feel free to share.

I owns shop where we make molds and cast big pieces of glass. It's hard work, but also a lot of fun. I also do some writing and I have some rental properties. You never know what you want to do until you're doing something you don't like. I suggest you find something you enjoy doing and then figure out how to make money doing it.

I'm a full-time job hunter. It's taken years of education and training to get to this point but I'm finally here. It's quite euphoric.

I sell drugs to kids, the younger, the better.
I go to rich neighborhoods and hang out by elementary/middle schools, I tell them how great it is and they want some everytime, I don't even tell 'em what it is, I just say it makes you feel good.
The first time it's free so they come back and tell their friends, then I smack 'em for whatever price I want, they don't know how much this stuff is really supposed to cost, and their parents are all rich so they all have disposable money.
It's the best gig there is, it just involves a lot of moving, you can only do it in one particular city for a few weeks before it gets too risky, but god the money is sooooo good. I'm 21 and I can retire and live comfortably in a few more years.

I'm a software development engineer. It's fun and challenging. Sometimes the hours are long but it's great work overall.

Like the self-checkout stuff? So glad that's a standard feature of major supermarkets now.
Best part: not having to have an awkward convo with checkout person. Worst part: the errors the machines encounter when there's a weight issue (Safeways manage this well (or don't implement it), Coles' machines are way too sensitive - I hate using them).
Me:
I'm Australian and graduated 3 years ago as a Chemical Engineer, with reasonably good results (80+%). Been working casually with current employer as a Process Engineer for the last 5 years.
I create virtual simulations of chemical/thermodynamic processes - principally to reduce consumption, help train operators and to save operation costs - and more recently have been making some website-based manuals to accompany simulations. From a philosophical perspective, I find it's an interesting thing to do. The responsibility/stress level is usually low, and my boss is pretty cruisy. But the overwhelming impression for me is that I'm very bored of sitting at the computer doing virtual stuff, and my body feels quite bad doing this, plus I feel a bit soul-sick and socially mal-affected.
I'm currently in the process of finding a new job, or potentially re-studying. I would like to start an apprenticeship in Horticulture (Parks and Gardens) and work outside in nature doing physical work. But I'm not sure if I'll be suited to this or not. I'm also considering simply finding another engineering job - but it's really not something I'm passionate about, or that I feel enthusiastic about pursuing :-(
As is the story for many people, I suppose, I feel the pressure to earn enough money to survive or be 'comfortable', but I don't want to submit to doing something I hate. I have lots of little interests but I really don't know what I'd like to do for the rest of my life. I feel like just doing what seems right for the moment and seeing how it goes.

I operate a fluid disposal plant. I take waste water or produced water from the oilfield and treat it, run it thru a centrifuge to spin the oil out of it, and pump the waste fluid down an injection well.
Its just one part of a multifaceted company. Big trucks, cool equipment, fun projects.
