my pet birds kept flying out to the entrance sitting on the bathroom door looking curiously out there, then flying out in front of the bathroom mirror, up against it all the time
and then doing it again, and again
they must have recognized something :-)
often they fly together, call on each other, teach each other sounds , they all sound the same now... like a turkey lol and they remember me too... had a friend hold them for me while I was in the hospital
they don't like strangers
when I tripped I always had them out... they came flying onto my head often or crawling up the shoulder , they can get very tame

yup they are very noisy, imagine a turkey most of the day :-) heh , just 4 turkeys since I got 4
an extra room is needed if you want peace :-)
no turkeys in living room
it's pretty fun, they have all started sounding like turkeys now, before they were chirping like normal birds and only one of them sounded like that but now they all sound exactly like each other each day ;P
parrots are even more noisy, the big ones can actually damage your hearing an extra room is best for birds often, unless not sensitive to noise like I am
they're pretty clever, as clever as small children often.. most pets are if you notice it :-)

Last week I was tripping at my girlfriend's house and I looked at her cat and we just stared into each others' eyes for about 10 minutes. I couldn't look away and neither could he. I felt almost a portal opening up between our minds, and he communicated to me all these things about interactions between cats and humans. I tried to explain to my girlfriend but got frustrated when she didn't get it and thought it was insane. I still can't really put into words what he "told me" but I feel this weird connection with him now.
His body also took on a "sharp" form at one point, kinda like the Pokemon Porygon!

Yeah, I think psychedelics kind of open your eyes to your higher self or consciousness. It makes us more aware of our connection to everything and heightens our senses. Last trip I had, I just kept trippin out on my cat looked like her fur was swirling around

I have two cats that are practically my shadows, however when I trip, my elder one *he's a bombay* will completely ignore me, while my angora-mix follows me around and acts like my trip sitter..lol

My cat acts crazier than normal. The other day she was sitting on table when I was tripping and when I shooed her off she gave me a look that was like "but I thought it was acid day and anything goes"

My cats ignore me reguardless unless they're out of food. My dog acts like my sitter and just lays by me, or plays fetch for 2 hours...

Ever since my shroom trip with my dog, he always happens to be around me when I trip at home. I'll stare off into space while I'm petting his chest or something, and he just loves that for hours lol. Think he knows what I'm doing and says "Imma get mah chest rubbed :P)
I notice that every time I do LSD in my room I end up saying at some point "I love this room". It is a pentagon-like shape but 8 sided with the door and everything, and is just the most interesting structure to me on LSD, and I love it for that.

Yes dude, sometimes I even talk to him and he talks back, we go in depth about life and then I hug him and scratch his belly usually he won't understand me either, but when I'm tripping we have this connection. It's rather unspeakable

When I had pets I was in love with them but things happen especially when you're youg like I was and eventually you have to either let them go. I wish I hadn't though, I think about them often. Sometimes I hate myself for that shit. It's probably the most soul wrenching thing I can imagine. Makes me miserable. I had several cats, dogs and a parrot growing up. I had other smaller pets but I never connected with them as I did my bird, cats and dogs. Most of them are with family or gone now, the bird is now in a bird sanctuary. He was really bad ass. I wish I could afford another one but I'm too old to have one now. It would outlive me. If I have a kid I may buy him one on his tenth birthday or so. African Greys are highly intelligent, live LONG and only befriend one person in life. I'd also love another dog and a cat and maybe even a horse one day, who knows? I love animals.

once on a high dose 4acodmt trip I thought my dog was dying and I spent the entire trip at her side reflecting on the memories i had with her as a kid. it honestly seemed like she was dying since she was pretty sickly or something and these rays were beaming out of here eyes and i could sense some kind of spirit coming out. she had the saddest look in her eyes too.
i have this other dog that barks at me whenever i'm high or tripping. i don't really like that one

My dog just lays there and gets her belly scratched so she loves when i tried. If i ever start to let my mind slip into bad thoughts i go find my dog right away, nothing helps more

My dog just stays close to me....thinking that something is up possibly...much more than normal. The coolest experience that I had was out in nature away from man in general. I was sitting on a creekbank on a warm sunny day and a whole troupe of pileated woodpeckers (3 or 4) were all around me. One sat on the same tree that I was propped up against....maybe 15 feet over my head...and looked right at me, I mean we locked eyes for 20 or 30 seconds. First off, these things are rare, and I have never in my life gotten that close to one...they are very wary. Also, they are huge....as big or bigger than a crow and beautiful! It was like he was trying to tell me something. I will never, ever forget this experience.

my cat is an amazing companion for tripping. when my whole visual field is being destroyed, she for some reason NEVER morphs with my surroundings. it's very, very weird. i've looked at her numerous times while my world is coming apart on L or Mush and she always just looks completely normal.
couple weeks ago me and my best friend took a rather large dose of L and had a difficult (what most would call "BAD") trip. my friend kept seeing shadows of people walking around in my yard (it was night time)...i didn't see anything. he was sitting on the couch looking out the windows. my cat definitely saw something too, though. she jumped up in the windowsill (she never does that, oddly enough) and pinned her ears back and was looking out at the yard. there was noooothing out there. i even went outside and checked. no people, no cat, no dog or rabbit...but whatever it was, i think Czarina and my friend were seeing the same thing. WEIRD.

I have a Scottish Terrier. He's normally super quiet and super chill. But when I trip around him he gets fucking pumped! I mean literally run the house back and forth. Eventually he'll -get me when I'm puddled on the couch and start playing with my hand. Or he'll make me scratch his belly. Dogs are fuckin neat, I can't say I've had any bad trips with him around. Best investment ever!
