And of course I painstakingly measured each of the three ziplock bags tithe exact amount in kilograms so I could jot it down for future reference. Each other time I've pasteurized i had them all within a reasonable range but never exact. I would just keep adding, weighing, taking some out to others at times and whatnot. Now an just weigh each bag individually. Although minus the amount of gypsum as I forgot it. No biggie. I'll just add and divide.
Only reason I couldn't this time is because the bucket added tithe weight tipped my scale.
Anyhow, with all that being said, what I was really wondering is can I add the gypsum into my substrate when I spawn? Or am I rising contam?
I'm gonna guess likely not as I'm spawning in open air. But maybe adding actual solids that might have mold spores on them and such as opposed to airborne particles, might be able to take more of a foothold?

It might be a problem, but I can't say for sure, so what I would do is sterilize the gypsum in a very small amount of boiling water.

Yea. That's what I thought. Have any of you ever did this? Did you actually notice any difference in performance if so. I mean, I know we know its beneficial, but is it at such a small margin it might almost be unnoticeable?

I doubt you'll notice much difference unless your running an isolate that you're used to fruiting

which probably includes isolating strains that perform extra nicely if gypsum is used.
