Wavy caps grow?

hi everyone...I ordered a B+ syringe and the free one they sent was wavy caps. I started both the B+ and wavy caps on WBS like I always do...now I am reading that these wavy caps are cyanescens. I have no experiences with these, from what I read they are wood/outdoor mushrooms, I have only done verm/core..so I am screwed with these things?

After the jar of grains colonizes then use it to inoculate spawn bags of hydrated wood chips that have been pressure cooked. For greater quantities of spawn use the colonized spawn bags to inoculate tubs of hydrated pc'd wood chips. I've used this method for a very productive psilocybe cyanescens patch.
I seen this the other day, thought it may help.

actually it's way harder,...sorta. just get your grain colonized(hard enough from a syringe as it's an outdoor fruit/print and probly isn't clean) spawn it to wood chips, preferably hardwood like alder and find a shady spot to burry iit and cover it up till fall(keeping it moist) and if your luccky you may get fuits in a year, if not it can take more then a couple. i don''t know what sounds"not much harder" lol

Post some pics and we can ID it for ya.
Honestly, they're probably just mutants. If they're growing and getting the job done, then there isn't anything to worry about. Bonus that they look cool, though
What kinda FC are you using? I'm screwing around with tub shape to see how it influences the shape and size of the shroom. This sounds like it would be bullshit, but obviously you can only position so many holes and have so much air space in one of those long flat tubs that are meant for storing crap under the bed. So far, it seems to be producing some large and gnarly fruits, probably because the water collects and "rains down" from the ceiling of the tub and they practically have to grow sideways. (Well, they probably have freaky monster genes as well.) They're my little bonsai kittens.
I don't normally post pix (I have no problem sacrificing street cred for anonymity), but here are some Amazons with wavy caps. These are unusually chunky and not quite as large as some of their normal-looking sisters, but cubes nonetheless.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding...I was thinking you *grew* B+ and it came out with wavy caps...was it a spore syringe labelled "wavy caps"?

Well hell, man...awesome
It's unusual that they would throw in a different species with your cube syringe, but serious bonus. If you're unsure what it is, email them. Or see what they're selling on their site labeled "wavy caps".
I thought I remembered RR talking about growing wood lovers in one of his videos...I think it was 3:1 sawdust to BRF if you're doing cakes? I've heard of people using WBS for this, then spawning it to something with sawdust in it.
Or, if you're nervous, you can mail it to meeee....

Damn which is awesome since he bought a cube syringe and received a much more expensive syringe for free hey cronicr why do you believe the syringe was made from a wild print instead of lab grown? Damn I wish I knew where I could order a cube syringe an receive a cyan or azure syringe that would be awesome. Don't post the company on the forum though but if you get a chance me.

I was wondering if it was from a wild print, too. Only because I've never seen them for sale that weren't made from wild spores. I haven't really been looking for them, though.

Sounds like a good reason to start agar

So why no sterile spores for Cyanescens I thought they were easily grown inside in a sterile environment or sterile enough to make a proper syringe like they do with cube syringes?

wild fruits can harbour hundreds of contams inside and out,

i think your thinking of pan cyans which are easily done indoors, psil cyans are not so easily done. not to say youu can't make a syringe with a print and get clean growth, but if it doesn't work don't get mad and wonder what happened, i myself got lucky with all types of woodlover syringes last year

I do everything in my walk-in that I spray oust a few times a week.
I've left open plates of agar in there for a few days, than put the lid back on, still no contams.
Is that weird? Before this hobby, the walk in wasnt opened but once or twice every few years, just held my shotguns.

Is it pan. cyan or ps. cyan that colonizes on cardboard?
most likely ps. cyan, you may be able to shoot a little bit of those spores right on some moist cardboard and have some cardboard spawn
I see where somebody used it to noc up some local wood chips.

I opened an agar plate for a second in open air once. Grew some great bacteria and some beautiful mold. Possible that you just had very little to no nutes in the plates or maybe leaving the plate open dried it out, but I would never recommend any open air agar for any reason. There are around 500,000 contams in your average cubic foot of air. Working with any sterile media in a closet sounds like a horrible practice. Aside from the agar being too dry or having no nutes to achieve germination, I am really tempted to be

Ps cyan will do fine on cardboard, would be a good idea to sterilize the cardboard first if your planning to inoculate grain spawn with it.
