Hey,

This is a quart popcorn jar that looks infected by the wet spot bacteria.  It was incubating and going well but 3 weeks later, I noticed that mycellium stopped growing.

It was removed from the incubator a couple weeks ago and forgot on the table. It's quite obvious that it's contamed :

 

Today, I found it back and had a look at it.  Just guess what I found.  Yep, a nice invitro growing EQ .  :lol:

 

  I wonder if casing this jar will work.  Of course I won't try because it's probably a waste of time and space but hey, it's nice to see that contams don't win all the time!  :devil:

i had the same thing happen to me i just flipped the jar over and it grew over the un colonized part a few days later and was cased not long after and came to flush too

Wet spot ain't shit. Cut it out, dunk cakes overnight in peroxide solution. The extra moisture helps anyway at this point. Case that shit and it'll colonize and fruit faster than normal.
