Well my mycological knowledge isn't massive, but my microbiological knowledge is quite strong as I work in waste processing and am finishing my masters degree in biology. So hello everyone!!
Oh one thing I can say my work and knowledge has helped with is sterile technique. I work with cell cultures so I have to be sterile all the time.

at this point i would offer, love of the grow arts, would exceed about everything. because ya really cant learn what we do , from any mainstream school.
we are the school. i know of no other, for this type of thing really.
therefore PHD, or GED, everyone is the same sweaty bastard, every time we put the needle to the spore print.
some have degrees, some dont. we all know , the only degree that counts, is shroomerology.
therefore, the highest form, for noobs and pros alike, is to make our forums, the most advanced shroom university / libraries, ever known to mankind.
and , then we print our own fucking diplomas, on tyvek!
in the new age, we can do that kinda stuff.

went to school for ceramics.... I am in school currently for Bio tho, plan on transferring to Penn State for their plant pathology minor in Bio though due to interest in the hobby and the many stamets lectures I've seen. It's inspiring what fungi of all types can do!

GED. Meteorologist and oceanographer in the NAVY. Currently a communications technician.
This hobby just takes an ability to learn. It's not rocket science.

I have an associate's degree in an unrelated tech field.
All my mushroom experience has been self-taught thanks to the shroomery, really.
Now I teach people how to grow mushrooms too
