WBS moisture/contam/slow to colonize ?

Ok, so strain I'm working with is Pink Buffalo, never worked with before I usually stick with cams. So anyway I like WBS as a spawn medium, I had some issues either moisture content not just right, as well as bout 20 percent contam rate. So anyway for the latest Pink Buffalo project I prepared my WBS via 6T WBS Tek (Wild Bird Seed) Bulk Spawn Preparation Method. I then used MS to knock up bout 20 qts, anyway it's day 9 and seeing very little growth, some jars have none. Now my question is 2 part.
1. My temps have dropped slightly due to climate they are running about 73.4 to 75.2 is this warm enough yet making them slower to colonize?
2. Without doing anything other than waiting, will they be ok, so far no contam I'm just looking at with such a slow rate of growth it's going to be quite a while before I am at 100%, and is that acceptable?
Plus too I wonder how much particular chosen strain (Pink Buffalo) I can attribute these variables to?

1. Your temperature range is fine.
2. It shouldn't be acceptable for your future projects but for now yeah, just wait it out. Hopefully just excess moisture slowing the colonization; look for signs of bacterial contamination later though.

Wow, I only say that because with the other WBS teks I've used. I like others found the problem to be excess moisture if anything, odd because with this tek it's the opposite I almost wonder if I have too little moisture. But if anything I'm being schooled in the virtue of patience. On another note Mad Season graced my front step today with some "mad bags", so it's all in good fun and learning. Just really hoping the PB experiment works I have really been wanting to delve into other strains. Thanks all
