Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc. In the moss on a tree stump
Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc. brown cap, open gills, steam was fairly white bruised darkish purple upon picking.
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc. It's a fruity mushroom, steam is rather think, looks almost purple right now.
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Spore print color: Very important! in process
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any. dark, purpleish.
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

The Psilocybes in our area - PNW - are very much smaller and more camouflaged. Hope that helps.
Also, I have only once, and recently at that, ever found Psilocybe growing anywhere near Armillaria. The one time I've seen it, recently they were about 20-30 feet apart, and was an unusual habitat for Psilocybe cyanescens.

Essentially, if you are running into Armillaria, you are very unlikely to run into any Psilocybe, and mainly because Armillaria species are extremely aggressive and tend to destroy other species with impressive timing.
