    #19125333 - 11/12/13 08:10 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

I found these specimens not too far off a trail in some grass on a hill, I was unable to obtain a spore print, I have no clue what they are but I find them interesting because I see them all the time.

Habitat:
Grows in the grass

Gills:
violet

Stem:
brown stem, scaly, rough

Cap:
Brown cap

Spore print color:
I took a spore print but was unable to see any spores deposited on the paper after 24 hours

Bruising:
Mycelium at base of stem starts out as white, then immediately after picking turns purple
