Frank's New Years 2014 project + maple bacon tek 7

So as some of you know, I've been on a much-needed vacation for the last month.
Now I've been back for a bit and my new year's project is underway.
I've cased many a PE tub so far but not so many classic cube varieties.
So to ring in the new year right, I'm running 20 tubs of various isolates from my library and I will be casing each tub with 50/50+.
Even with MS, my PE pinsets have been nothing short of spectacular when using a casing layer...so let's see how it works with some "standard" cube varieties in my dialed-in monos.
Here are the bags as of 11/16:

And on 11/22:

The four missing bags have been spawned (different project) and I forgot to mention I lost one master jar to the bottom of my SAB
Update 12/2:
So I decided to not case this project, for time's sake.
The dozen or so tubs coming up right after this, I will case at least half of them.
Hopefully your disappointment will be alleviated by this picture of some of the tubs fruiting

And here they are on 12/6:

Updates for 12/9!
Compensating for a very dry winter (20% RH right now) has been interesting. I've had to adjust my top polyfill a bit and mist a couple tubs to make up for it. I may start opting for a thin casing layer during the winter. The next 12 tubs will help me decide, it'll be a great comparison.
As you'll see in my pics, the Oak Hills variety seems particularly sensitive to dry air. This is not news to me, I saw this on my last few rounds with the OH variety as well. Notice the fluffy white mycelium around the short sides, where the fresh air is coming in the most.
Anyone notice this with Oak Hills before? ...anyone grow oak hills before?
Also, one tub with John Allen Strain variety had a piece of poly fall out of a top hole for a day or two, he has a similar dry patch but it is not fluffy like the Oak Hills.
Here's the start:
TC-B is a breadwinner, first flush 226.9g dry.

OH-F is a keeper, first flush 193.2g dry.

This OH-F was harvested a little eariler, clocked in at 176.2g dry.

More pics to come when more pins start popping up
12/12:
Fixed my dry air issue:

Immediate 20% boost to room RH.
I updated the pics above with three harvests
Update 12/18!
I got sick and lost track of basically all the numbers
Smallest harvest was a little under 4oz (you'll see the one) and the largest was almost 9oz. Average would be around 6-7oz per tub.
Not too shabby considering my early dry air issue badly affected a few of these tubs.
Here's the harvest so far!

My dehydrators and my fridge have been completely stuffed for over a week now, running 24/7.
Here is one I couldn't get to in time, he got a little overgrown (weight unknown as of yet, he provided a nice bucket though):

And here is a second flush coming in on one of those cased tubs:

Second flush tubs got a misting today and they are all looking good. About four first flushes remain.
Update 12/21:
Here's more, I can barely keep up, as you can see by how late I got to a couple of these! What a problem to have
I'm too to bother sorting these out, I don't think you will mind either

First flushes are almost complete...two left I think.
Update 12/22:
Here's the last two first flushes

These are "John Allen Strain" and I've decided it is my new favorite variety of cube.
Each time I work with it, I always end up with some beautiful and unique looking fruits, and even the crappier pinsets tend to push out some big weight. They don't sporulate very quickly, and just look at those gorgeous caps.
As always, more to come!

Don't worry, I'm no stranger to grows of this scale
Presently I've got 16 quart jars awaiting grain-to-grain into 5qt WBS bags. An additional four jars were transferred into bags yesterday.
I'd say about 2 weeks for the bags to be done and 2 weeks for the cased substrates to be ready to fruit.
Will update tomorrow with pics!
Good to see some old friends still around too

Being as the need or desire for a casing layer has been debated many times over the years, I'm curious to see if you find it worth the extra effort.
We know it's not needed for cubes, but that doesn't mean it's not desirable.
