What kind of clearomizers do you guys use? I've got a Kanger Evod and the atomizers turn all black after a few days even though I keep it full.

I find that thick, sweet juices gunk up the atomiser a lot faster than thinner, milder tasting ones. I have a feeling it's the sugar caramelising on the coil.

The good news is, the Evod atomisers are really easy to rebuild. All you need is some nichrome wire and cotton balls for wicks.

Huh, I didn't think of that I do add sweetener. I'll have to search youtube for a rebuild tek.

Sweet juices leave more gunk on the coil from what I been figuring out.

I enjoy Mt baker vapor after a fellow shroomerite turned me onto them.  Made to order that day and shipped out asap.  So it may need to steep a week.  I haven't tried any others out.

rocking a 1000mah twist and kanger protank 2.  Might get a innokin mvp2 I think its like 60 bucks and lasts a couple days on a charge.  Good for those days when I'm working and pass out before charging it.

Be careful:  I read the abstract for a study I found on reddit.com/r/DrugNerds which showed that two of the flavoring chemicals in CINNAMON FLAVORED e-liquid to be potentially toxic!

So yeah, I'd skip the cinnamon flavor, for now.

I vape here and there, but I'm still smoking. Need to start vaping more, and smoking less. Because of shit like the above, I do not consider it a 100% safe alternative. Nicotine is, of course, still bad for you... particularly in larger amounts (though small amounts have shown some nootropic type effect.)  But aside from the nicotine, there's the propylene glycol or whatever other stuff they're using as a base. I mean, god knows what the long term effects of breathing that stuff regularly are... and then, of course, the flavoring agents. Depending on which flavor you're getting, that could include any of quite a number of compounds, with god-only-knows what type of safety or toxicity.

Here you go:

Identification of toxicants in cinnamon-flavored electronic cigarette refill fluids

Highlights

•Most cinnamon-flavored refill fluids were cytotoxic to embryonic and adult cells.
•Human embryonic stem cells were more sensitive than adult pulmonary fibroblasts.
•Four chemicals were identified in cinnamon-flavored refill fluids.
•Dipropylene glycol and vanillin had low cytotoxicity.
•Cinnamaldehyde and 2-methoxycinnamaldehyde were cytotoxic in the MTT assay.

Abstract

In a prior study on electronic cigarette (EC) refill fluids, Cinnamon Ceylon was the most cytotoxic of 36 products tested. The purpose of the current study was to determine if high cytotoxicity is a general feature of cinnamon-flavored EC refill fluids and to identify the toxicant(s) in Cinnamon Ceylon. Eight cinnamon-flavored refill fluids, which were screened using the MTT assay, varied in their cytotoxicity with most being cytotoxic. Human embryonic stem cells were generally more sensitive than human adult pulmonary fibroblasts. Most products were highly volatile and produced vapors that impaired survival of cells in adjacent wells. Cinnamaldehyde (CAD), 2-methoxycinnamaldehyde (2MOCA), dipropylene glycol, and vanillin were identified in the cinnamon-flavored refill fluids using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry and high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC). When authentic standards of each chemical were tested using the MTT assay, only CAD and 2MOCA were highly cytotoxic. The amount of each chemical in the refill fluids was quantified using HPLC, and cytotoxicity correlated with the amount of CAD/product. Duplicate bottles of the same product were similar, but varied in their concentrations of 2MOCA. These data show that the cinnamon flavorings in refill fluids are linked to cytotoxicity, which could adversely affect EC users.

Yeah, so like I said... skip cinnamon.

I love my Volcano E-Cig!! I smoked for ten years before finding the wonderful world of vaping. Studies are showing that E Cigs are way more effective for quitting than almost any other method. I buy expensive E Juice with only like 4 ingredients that are all natural, like vegetable glycerin.

Bummer to hear about cinnamon flavor.  I got some as a freebie.  Was mixing a few drops in with apple for some fall festivity.

PG is still bad for you, small percentage turns to formaldehyde. I try to keep PG low, still way better than smoking.

Considering how much I vape and how little fruit I eat, I doubt it.

Can you source that? My brother was telling me something along the lines of the PG solutions
used in E-cigs may be toxic. Honestly, this surprises me seeing as the certain liquid medications,
and inhalers use the stuff.

oh! so it comes from the heating of the PG. thanks for the link rev. i wonder if they'll add
chemicals to counteract the possible 'negative' outcomes, like they did with tobacco.
probably not, but very interesting none-the-less.

I wonder how it compares to the other ones they use for a base. I forget which.... IDK if vegetable glycerin is one, or if I'm pulling that right out of my ass... I thought there was another that was similar to propylene glycol...

...I found this place that lets you mix your own liquids, and they give you several choices for what to use as the base. Some are supposedly smoother than others, but I'm wondering how they compare in terms of potential toxicity. I'll have to look that up...

Ive used 6 vapes...

Including the g-pen wish hash

I'd say go for something with a whip if you can.. direct hit ones can hurt like a bitch cause of the heat.
And the bag vapes are good for groups but the vape does get stale..

Fuckcombustion.com is the place to learn about vapes n which one because peole own tons there

Just don't smoke n vape or else you won't feel as high from vaping.. because when you smoke your combusting other things that add on to the high
