Played the open beta for quite a while, probably gonna check it out again now that it's released. It is an amazing game, lots of depth.

yeh, it looks it. i probably won't play it for long, cause i can't keep up with these games where you can grind for like... forever...
but it looks so interesting, and so much better then D3, i have to at least try it.
gonna get it soon, myself.

well, i'm actually not sure. maybe it doesn't, maybe it's a smooth as a button. but i just used the term because i really don't play much RPGs. i only meant by "grinding" that there is obviously lots and lots of mouse clicking and checking stats and item switching and inventory managing and ect ect...
that's the only reason why i don't last playing RPG games. even if i like it... oh well, still wanna try it though.

Yeah, kinda...I mean it has 3 Acts and when you reach the end it repeats, just like Diablo. But the character creation with it's huge talent tree (more like talent web really) and massive amount of spell and gear customization keeps things interesting.

I got bored pretty quickly. Diablo 3 wasn't as good as the first 2 - Diablo 1 is still a classic. I almost liked Sacred but again it gets boring. It's all like walking on a conveyor belt and the scenery changes but the actions are all exactly the same. Diablo 1 had that great soundtrack and was just different. You could get into battles that lasted hours. Die a thousand times. It took strategy. POE doesn't really - it's too easy. Diablo3 too easy.
I like Hellgate Tokyo - it's also free, and better by far than the rest of these.

I liked the atmosphere of it most. Was awesome.

I didn't like POE or Diablo 3, it seems that sort of genre is boring to me nowadays or maybe D2 did it as good as it needs to be done?

Yea I feel like all I'm doing in those kinds games is continuous spamming of spells/abilities. They can be fun with friends though. The art is fun to look at too.

It's pretty grindy, and if you don't already have an idea of how to build your character from the point you start it, you'll either have to burn a lot of currency to fix your tree (trading one orb of regret to refund a single point), or reroll entirely. That said, you can be pretty unique in how you build your character, though that doesn't necessarily mean that the build will be viable (in which case, see above). You can link gems to abilities that change the way the ability works, making for a lot of customization, added onto the huge talent tree.
There are also some issues with desync, where your character will end up lag teleporting around until you die, though I think there was a command added that helps to alleviate that a bit. I enjoy the game when I play it once in a while, I just can't get enough into it that I feel like grinding a character to a high level so I can grind more currency and unique gear to make a new character build that I actually enjoy (as a lot of the more popular, fun ones cost a decent amount), then level THAT character to a high level.
