Some Suggestions on Christmas Gifts

Post gifts that you think would be perfect for lovers, children, parents, neighbors, in-laws, co-workers, teachers, grandparents, and other relatives.
This year I'm really into the idea of hand-making gifts for people. So this year I'm going to package three very easy and simple recipes into separate glass jars.
In one will be home-made ranch dressing, using buttermilk, mayonnaise, sour cream (or plain tart yogurt to make it low fat), fresh parsley, fresh chives, and black pepper. Put it in the blender for 10-20 seconds.
In another will be home-made vinaigrette with olive oil, red wine vinegar, and flavored jam of your choosing.
In the last jar will be to make my own spiced oil with garlic, grated Parmesan, basil, oregano, chives, parsley, and bay leaves.
I think this very easy and simple and inexpensive gift would be perfect for co-workers, teachers, grandparents, other relatives, and neighbors. Might not be good for boyfriends/husbands and girlfriends/wives, children, or parents (they are probably better cooks than you).
I know I talk shit about the Christian guy I've been sort of semi-dating, but I guess I'll make him a gift too. He's probably really big into Thanksgiving. I don't know what to get him though, the guy's WAYYYY richer than me. I know that he doesn't eat a lot of home-cooked meals so I wanted to make him something too. But IDK what. Suggestions?

I'm not a fan of home made gifts. But I do make gourmet mushroom kits for family members. Make your man a mushroom kit in the shape of a cross.

I think only adults over 30 really appreciate home-made gifts. Which is why I said great for co-workers and neighbors and old lady types from church, not your 19 year old teenage boy or 4 year old toddler.

I think homemade gifts are awesome. A few years ago my (now ex-)wife made some body scrub, chai tea, dry rub, and crochet hats to give as gifts. The younger kids liked the hats.
I made some wine this year and will only have a few bottles to part with, but plan on giving to my close friends.
This is the label I made up. . .

It says "Poison of Dragons" spelled in runes. I got the phrase from Deuteronomy 32:32-33 KJV:
"32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:
33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps."
The picture is an engraving by Lucas Jennis that I thought would fit perfect.

Yeah, and its crap. It would save my so much time if I could just buy people shit. Now I have to beat my head against the wall trying to come up with something "meaningful", instead of just hitting the online checkout.

A waffle iron could be a handy gift. Maybe a pot scraper if they are really special.

I'm planning on making handmade skin care/beauty products and other health potions to give as xmas gifts this year. I'm currently taking a class on herbalism and learning all kinds of ways to make really awesome potions with herbs from my region! Also, if I can put it together in time I'm going to make a recipe book of some of my best/favorite dishes and DIY skin care products.

You gonna end up broke living on the street if you start getting gift for all these people.
Just give them a gift card with lottery tickets. That way if they win big, they have to give you a cut.
But seriously though, I prefer giving useful things. Something like a 20kg bag of salt for melting ice. Car wax and soap. An road emergency kit. A tool kit. 20 pack of batteries. Toothpaste/mouthwas/floss kit. You get the idea.

Remind me not to be your secret Santa.
"Hey, thanks for the.....salt. It's just what I wanted!"

I don't give wants. I give needs. They will need that salt in the winter and its a couple of bucks they won't have to pay and it saves them a trip to store. Plus that shit is heavy. Its a great gift idea.
Sorry, I didn't get you the Power Ranger doll you wanted bro
