I bought this cacti at Walmart today for $3, transplanted it into a bigger pot.
I think ive IDed it as Pilosocereus pachycladus but im not sure. Im hoping it will get alot bigger. Any idea on if im correct with my ID? Also does this species contain any magic or is it just cool to look at?

A Pilosocereus yes. The flower will be fake, hopefully removal won't damage the growing tip.

I see you have young pilosoocereus azureus with artificial flower attached with hot glue to growth tip of cactus. I have got just same looking cactus plant in my collection and it was labeled as p. azureus.
Anyway, I have seen this fall identical artificial flowers glued to cacti also in my country. They are easy to remove but leave some scarring to skin of cactus anyway. I buy'd echinopsis subdenudata some time ago with same color flower attached to top of cactus with glue, now it have ugly scar at top but it's better to remove these glued flowers from your columnar asap. I saw from local plant nursery where was lots of small cacti with these flowers that columnars was growing very ugly cause of glued plastic flower at growth tip.
I don't know but for people who doesn't know much of cacti, these with artificial flower glued to cacti sell probably more better. I could have buy lots of young cacti but cause they had ugly growth cause of glue, I doesn't buy'd any other than one e. subdenudata plant for 2€, all other plants was ugly cause of that "flower"
Hating to see these plants are ruined by attaching plastic flowers with glue! Remove the flower!

that's a great looking cactus. the local bigbox stores around me sell them but they're not as mature as yours. As for the fake flower, i would remove it and the glue without a second thought.

Cactus will heal and only thing will be left is a whitish scarring to that point. Wound so small doesn't take long to develop callous over it. After few months you have nice healthy growth tip on your cactus.
More you mess up with cactus in long term if you have kept the hot glued flower attached to it.
