I have not. I mostly go to legit taquerias for tacos. I must admit though that Del Taco makes a decent mexican style taco. Also those terrible but somehow extremely cravable tacos from Jack In The Box will always hold a strange special place in my heart.
Last night I went to the local taqueria on the corner and had some al pastor tacos. They were SO fucking good. Damn all this talk about tacos makes me wanna go get some!

right and I love real Mexican taco as well..when I lived in vegas we would grub out on del taco(their chili cheese fries were bomb)but I remember their burritos abslutley sucked but yes their tacos were good..eh chrisman yer old enough, you remember when del taco was nogales?i used to grub nogales tacos back in the day too! we have two del tacos hre in my town now but theyre not very close and I don't like the del tacos food here for some reason
the carls jr and BKs tacos are just like the jack in the box ones where they are fried, but generaly they really put them together like shit at BK like a little kid made it for you..today I tried carls jr 2 for a buck tacos and they are much better than the jack n the box and BK..try em they use a better shell its much crucnchier

We have a joint here in Denton called the "Taco Lady" Most legit barbacoa I've ever had. Cilantro, lime, onion, thin cabbage, on a homemade corn tortilla? Yes, please. But for real do you guys have Taco Casa where your at? That shit is legit for chain tacos.

the ony problem with the carls jr tacos is that they don't put any hot sauce inside the taco like they do at jack in the crack..you have to add the hot sauce manually..some folks may prefer that

True authentic tacos are damn near impossible to find at any dive in the U.S at least from my experience. But I guess the Taco can be different depending on which part of mexico your coming from. I have some friends from Mexico, they are literally family to me. Cookouts at their place, shit gets real.
Skirt Steak (Erracherra) *sp? thinly sliced onions and habaneros in lime juice cilantro salsa which is hot sauce and this stuff they call mexican catsup. It's different each time but same base ingredients. All on a Maize tortilla
I've literally eaten like 15 of these in a 1 hour time span.

You sure? I just googled Burger King tacos and came up with nothing, unless the BK you're saying stands for something else and I'm just so phased out at the moment I didn't notice.

bk has had tacos in my area for almost 10 years..carls jr's are new,as far as 2 for $1 fried up tacos...they've had more authentic style tacos forever through there brother menu "the green burrito' but these 2 for $1 tacos are strictly carls jr menu and is a new thing from them
@synth no I mean burger king..it must be a regional thing

Come to Texas sometime. The tacos stands are plentiful down here. They're usually pretty authentic mexican as well.

ok so I went and got 4 this morning for my slight H/O(these are great H/O grub too)and this time the lady who made them put hot sauce in them and they were pretty damn good, better than last time..only mark they get is consistency since I didn't get sauce last time..
on another note im gonna go on limb here and say BK's 2 for $1 taos suck ass and are slapped together sloppily..don't even bother IMO..
