new day, new forest

Hey folks. Any corrections or suggestions for me on these ID attempts? As always, I really appreciate it.
Marasmius plicatulus (rugose pileus baby)

Marasmiellus candidus
Hygrocybe flavescens (I think ...)

Russula brevipes. (I like to think I'm a fan of all fungi, but these monsters just gross me out on some primeval Lovecraftian level)

Clitocybe? (gibba?)

Psathyrella? I'm thinking this could be a Psathyrella, maybe bipellis? It was growing from the space between the bark and the trunk of a cut conifer.
I couldn't even narrow down the genus here I would've thought the revolute margin would be distinctive, but that lead didn't get me anywhere. I thought it might be Marasmius oreades for a bit but that shouldn't have decurrent gills like this. Then I though maybe Laccaria... But now me am just confuzd...

Gymnopilus or Galerina or ...? Apologies for the bad photos here folks. I thought these little pins were interesting enough to merit a posting though. Are they pins or are they aborted attempts at full mushrooms. Is there enough info here to make a better guess at what this is. (Growing from a dead conifer, btw.)

No spore print? How is the texture of flesh and cap surface? Trees present?

Brilliant thread. I'm not sure if I've seen any of your previous posts before, Coen. I'm definitely going to check out your other stuff, given the quality of this.
Great pics and ID's. Your Psathyrella kinda looks like Mycena haematopus to me. You got a gill shot or spore print? really just a gill shot should make the difference obvious.
Anyhow, nice meeting you

That does seem more likely.
The way the hygrophanus drying is, aytipical for M. haematopus.

Oh yeah, that looks right, what with the hygrophanous cap n' such. Thanks RD. The Mycena are still very foreign to me...

Aw shucks, I'm sure you say that to all the neophytes. Really I'm just attempting to reflect some of the awesomeness of the shroomery...

No, no gill shots. My camera screen is broken so I'm taking these photos blind and that was the only one that turned out.

You too. I'm a big fan of your posts. I wish I could take photos like that. Hopefully one day I'll be able to afford a nice camera.

Pinch your pennies man. All I have is an entry level camera. It took years to save for it, and it only makes me want more. This stuff is too damn addictive. You're doing a hell of a job with a broken screen. You'd be awesome with some good equipment.

Tempted to point in the direction of Hygrophorus or Camarophyllus sp. yet I'm not certain.

Cap texture is smooth and dry (not viscid or gelatinous) and (maybe one could say) slightly areolate at the margin.
Growing under the shade of both Douglas fir and black cottonwood (Populus trichocarpa).

I'm currently thinking these are Laccaria laccata. The spore print is still faint but it looks to be white. The pileus shape in this species is apparently extremely variable, which fits. And it also fits Arora's description of the stipe: "tough and fibrous, elastic ... compressed ... downy mycelium at base white" (see last pic).

The lamellae seem too close for Camarophyllus.
I haven't ruled out Hygrophorus...

In the case of your Marasmius, the pileus is sulcate.
Nice observations!

I wonder why Peck called it plicatulus instead of sulcatulus. Man, that taxon has withstood the test of time. I guess no one has really worked on Marasmius in 100 years.
