I apologize that I didn't take any pictures of them Fresh. My cell phone was in the "shop" getting repaired at that time. When I go back to that spot I'll take some fresh pictures

Well; those aren't Psilocybe, but they definitely seem to be blueing.
Any chance of finding some fresh ones?
Could these be Inocybe?

I'm not familiar with Inocybe or Conocybe species. If you had to guess, what inocybe were you thinking of? Yes, I'll go to the spot tomorrow and take some pictures of live specimens. They couldn't be that species of galerina that bruise blue could they?

Is that spore print red/brown or is it my screen?

It's purple brown, and I would wager they are Psilocybe cyanescens for the lack of veil remnants/annulus. There was likely saw dust and other woody material under the layer of sod, a perfect substrate, and hence what appears to be dried fatty P. cyanescens.

They are Psilocybe, but I am not able to ID your collection to species without microscopy.

I can't see the purple in the prints. I saw straw colored, fluffy looking dried umbonate mushrooms with a brown print and blue bruising.

's handled now though.

The fresh specimens also had a Gelatinous Pellicle (spelling) that I can completely peel off. I've just never seen any psilocybes that are fresh and wet with a cap color like this. You can definitely see the blue bruising though

It should be strange for them to retain the blue yafter drying completely, from what I thought I knew of the blue Stropharias, no?
Still don't have much experience of them.

Yes, every one of them are the same. All have the blue/green bruising, white stem, and that creamy colored cap.
