Not really a place where I can take the time to do those shots. I didn't even pick one to be able to take a gill shot.
Other then that, I don't really understand what you just said.

I just gotta say you guys have me obsessed with making an actives find in the tri-valley. No luck yet, but I feel my spidey sense growing sharper with each lunchtime stroll through the woodchip landscaping.
North sides, shade, cover. Overzealous irrigation.

Took me a week of spending an hour or two a day, but seek and ye shall find, I guess.
It seems like a pretty good challenge to make a find here in the tri-valley. Not only does it have to be woodchipped, you're kind of wasting your time if it isn't also heavily shaded, irrigated, with wood chips that look a bit weathered but not so old that 2/3 of them have blown away.
