Communism - What's so bad about it?

This is a genuine question, I wish to be educated about communism and society's current perceptions towards it.
Aside from the history of atrocities that have occurred in so-called 'communist' nations, what are your objections to communism? It's the most beautiful political philosophy I've encountered. The communist manifesto, written some 165 years ago, seems largely still relevant today. The proletariat are still exploited by the ruling class, and gain relatively little during their individual lifespans which consist almost entirely of work which serves to make the bourgeoisie richer still.
Those who work gain nothing, those who have everything do not work.

I don't find this to be true, every wealthy family I've met has had at least one person working more than I have the will too, sometimes most of the family will be working that much.

There is no way to make it work except maybe in very small tribal communities. Our world is too complex for communism to make any sense. People need motivation to get shit done.

Indeed. I think those rulers of nowadays failed communism countries are those most corrupt ones of all bigger countries. It can be easily seem, when those countries westernize their government style. The richest people coming out of this are the politicians and the heads of the huge companies. Power corrupts - human are too weak so far for this.

2 things wrong....
We always seem to get a psycho for a leader in communist countries.. or an inhumane sob. And For some weird reason 49% of the population at any given time feel like they deserve more and therefore hate the current leader.
I propose a world where everything is free but under administration. No one gets special treaatment... Not even the leaders. I literally mean 100% equal rights for all men ans women on Earth.

Its creation of an all powerful oligarchy that deprives people of their freedom and rights.
But I take issue with your exclusion of the history of atrocities. I don't believe these were just an accidental consequence of the communist revolutions in those countries, but directly caused by the communist philosophy. Communism requires a powerful central government (despite what some traditional marxists claim, this is the only way to administer the system) and places the good of the many over the good of the few, even to the point of their deaths. Once you accept that, you have to accept that someone is going to decide who is to be deprived for the greater good, and there lies the path to tyranny.
