Nasty taste and gag reflex from mescaline containing liquid isn't, lol. it's absolutely critical to eat it dry, or do an annoying time consuming extraction and encapsulation

What I find the most revolting about the cactus tea is not drinking it down, its the lingering bitter taste and the shakes that come with it after... I highly suggest like others said to brush your teeth and chew something fruity and sweet to mask any of it.

I didn't think the juice tasted that bad when I took a sip... but then again, on Thanksgiving I'll be drinking half a jar and eating about 6 inches of dried bridgesii, so the taste might get to me
The cactus juice should be fine in the fridge until then, right? Or should I tell my girlfriend to put it in the freezer?

If the fridge is on the coldest setting it should be fine. And a lot of people say lemon essential oil helps them a lot with nausea so try that

It gets exponentially more distasteful, the more that you drink. When I have had the tea, it doesn't taste too bad at first. But, as I get down to the dregs, it is very difficult to take another sip.

I agree physicist. That's why the only way to go is to eat cracker dry raw cactus

Since you have tripped around 200 times... Get more cactus, or drink it all by yourself. BUT, I have to say, mescaline with a loved one sounds like the greatest experience anybody could ever have. So, get more cactus. If you can get another foot (or more) of Bridge... I also swear by the following method since I have tried it: Take a cactus piece, freeze it. Take it out of the freezer, and cut out the spine nodes first. Then, peel the skin. It's way easier to peel after freezing. I could peel an entire section's worth of skin ONE SHOT. Then dice up your cactus. If it hasn't thawed completely, let it thaw. Then, freeze it again. Once frozen solid, take it out of the freezer, and blend it. Take that, and freeze it again if you want. Then, let it thaw, and leave the juice to seperate from the pulp. Scoop out the pulp and save that. Filter the juice nicely. You'll have a lot, but it's quite easy to get down compared to concentrated tea, and once it's down, it's actually real nice on the stomach. Real great for digestion. Tea fucks my stomach up real bad. I never puke, but my shit is green and not so nice to pass. Now, take that pulp, and make a tea. Add your tea to the other tea. Reduce as necessary.
Share the juice first, it will help line the stomach with something that seems to be awesome on the digestive system. Then, share the tea.
Oh, and don't trow away cores, btw. Use the inner part of the core (soft) for juice and save the outer layers (fibrous) for tea. They have more power than people think.
On the trip previous to the one two days ago, I just took a kilogram of frozen cactus, and blended it up into sorbet, along with stevia liquid sweetner. It actually didn't taste bad at all, it was just quite a lot of volume. Tea, on the other hand, can be rather revolting.

Lemon oil did not stop the nausea after 1 hour. It helps at the start but once the train starts moving, it's bound to crash laying still near a bucket is the best course of action.

Just take it whenever man. The best time to trip isn't a set date, it's always precisely when the spirit strikes
And fungi leo didn't really stop the nausea for me either..when the nausea really hits, if you take more lemon oil would that help any, or have you tried that?

lying as still as possible helps quite a bit with the nausea too.

The main thing is to have my eyes closed and absorb into the twin reality of cactus imagination .that destroys nausea for me. That's what I tell everyone

Well I only tried it at the start but will try it as I'm laying there The thing is I think my syrup is super potent and if I would of kept it down, I'd be tripping really really hard. I know with mushrooms if I took 3 or 11 grams dry, I'd still trip for 6 hours, with cacti I hear it can be anywhere from 12 to 24 hours depending on the dose?
Also I have datura seeds which help with nausea greatly, I'm curious to take two but kinda scared, not into datura at all. Wonder of two seeds would help curb any nausea or somehow ruin my trip?

I've heard datura can help, on based on my experimentation at a younger age, I would confidently say that 2 seeds would be a way sub threshold dose for me. I haven't tried them with cactus though. I've found the lemon essential oil to help a lot. I used to have a terrible time keeping tea down until I discovered that stuff.

Datura seeds really help that much? Interesting, because I seem to respond to cactus nausea like fungi does, basically, lemon oil doesn't really stop it lol. maybe I'll also respond to datura like you do

I haven't tried datura with cactus yet, I've just heard it can help a lot. Especially the D stramonium. I don't know that much about how it works, but it is a totally different mode of action than lemon oil and ginger, so maybe it'll work for you. I find smoking lots of cannabis helps too, but not everyone is into that.
