We need psychotic episode and poetry subforum 1

I admit these things are mystical, but rather off topic, so how about a subforum for them? A full half the posts here are psychotic episodes - hallucinatory dream visions (minus drugs - so trip report forum is out), and stream of consciousness psychobabble also called free verse poetry.
I think the point for having a subforum is that not everybody is up to the task of trying to figure out what the hell is going on first thing in the morning and some people just want a bit of mysticism without having to endure a full nervous breakdown. You all can correct me if I'm wrong.
On another note - there also should be a special hell for people who just come to proselytize with no sense of communication - just flat out preaching. I don't care what the religion - hey, I am card carrying Buddhist, but I don't want even Buddhists preaching at me.
Because fact is, that's just another type of trolling since all it does is pisses everybody off.

We also need a 2000 year old dogma sub forum for those spouting mistranslations as fact on a spirituality forum.

OR... we could have a subforum of the philosophy forum called secular humanism, skepticism and bland, watered down Buddhism so you can avoid all the uncomfortable parts of the mystical experience.
We could make you a moderator so could you stop trolling this forum.
Everybody wins!

But seriously, I think psychosis is a very important part of the mystical experience so i think such posts belong here.

Schizophrenics don't drown children. Schizos are just afraid of everything, sometimes the persecution is such bullshit they lash out, but it's more a personality thing, to be violent.

Look, I know you're schizophrenic but the fact is they cause just as much violent crime. My point was that the poster saying mental illness is a part of the spirituality forum is not helping the case for the forum and makes no sense.

mental illness n (Medicine / Pathology) any of various disorders in which a person's thoughts, emotions, or behaviour are so abnormal as to cause suffering to himself, herself, or other people
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/mental+illness
Mental illness refers to a wide range of mental health conditions — disorders that affect your mood, thinking and behavior. Examples of mental illness include depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders and addictive behaviors.
Many people have mental health concerns from time to time. But a mental health concern becomes a mental illness when ongoing signs and symptoms cause frequent stress and affect your ability to function. A mental illness can make you miserable and can cause problems in your daily life, such as at work or in relationships. In most cases, mental illness symptoms can be managed with a combination of medications and counseling (psychotherapy).

Being schizophrenic is the last taboo. Gays, transgendered, etc are accepted (which they should be) but barely anyone fights for the schizophrenics.. Lots of stigma and superstition around schizophrenic people.
And why? You can be schizophrenic and live a fully functional life. You can offer to society as much as anyone else.
Anyway, psychotic episodes are highly mystical experiences, I dont see why we shouldn't talk about it here.

"I admit these things are mystical, but rather off topic." What a contradictory thing to say, as this is the spirituality and mysticism forum.
And are they psychotic episodes, or do you just perceive them to be as such? There is a difference you know.
Why do you call free verse poetry, psychobabble?
Why does preaching bother you so much? Why do you wish hell on people, whom preaching or not, are probably just trying to help?
Let it be, let it be, singin words of wisdom, let it be.
Seems like your the only one trolling, tbh.
I do agree, a poetry subforum would be pretty cool.
However, calling any experience a psychotic episode just because you do not understand it, and/or society does not understand it, does not make it a psychotic/nervous breakdown...and doing so often causes more problems than solutions.

I'm not objecting to the reality challenged applying themselves in all their splendor to this forum at all. I am merely thinking that people who wish to indulge beep bloob gerb snerk snarl threads can have their own home. Then those of like mind could comment without fear of reprisal. And the rest of us then wouldn't have to be humiliated by our lack of the cloud of unknowing.

I suggested the conspiracy forum and had 'religion' removed from the title for this reason. Best we can do.
