so had a few basic SGFC questions for you guys... first off, my strainer is an absolute piece of shit and despite my best efforts, there appears to be a slight bit of standing water accumulating. is this an absolute no-no? haven't put cakes in it yet so I'm draining through the bottom/corner holes and thinking about adding one more hole in the proper place as a drain. doesn't seem to be much of a problem but doesn't hurt to have all the info you can gather either haha... and second, I had quite a bit of trouble with cracking around the holes of my tub when I drilled them, I've covered up any that actually seem to be significantly large/separated with duct tape but wanted to make sure no one has had a problem with numerous small cracks letting in too much air or something like that. seeing as it's a box completely riddled with holes i doubt this is a problem either, but again, doesn't hurt to check. thanks and apologies for these rather silly questions!

an extra hole for a drain wont hurt...heating up a 1/4 inch bolt red hot is a sweet way to make your holes with out cracking the tub

Running your drill bit backwards helps with cracking as well.

I know it's too late now, but you can back up the side of the tub with a block of wood when you drill it to keep from cracking the plastic.
