Habitat:
Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
These were found in a cow pasture a few yards from our home. They were under the bark of some dead logs.

Gills:
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Gills are attached and color appears to be a light greenish/gray

Stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
1 1/2 to 4 inches long, Kind of a thick stem and it curls a little bit, Hollow

Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
1/2 inch to 3 inches, darker brown with a lighter brown/gray around edges

Spore print color:
Very important!
black or dark purple

Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
bruises brown if at all

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.
Some of the caps had a type of ink that seeped onto the mushrooms from mushrooms above.

They usually look more red when I find them, but otherwise they seem to be it.
