That works for pretty much everything, really.

Thats how I had mine today. No salt or anything and my wife said they were like oysters but I thought they had a milder flavor. They were great either way!

I think they go well in noodle dishes too, like beech mushrooms do. Asian style with something spicy and some sesame oil.

Mmmmm... That's the other way I like to try new mushrooms is with eggs. It's always great.

ive been trying to find some info on how to grow these poplars.... everything i find is different, nobody seems to do much of these, and really want to grow them, I have a bunch of carrier seeds covered in spores.
PLEASE let me know how you grew them? I need lots of detail and specifics.... I would realllllly appriciate it. I am dying to try these, Ive heard theyre very good, and I eat sauteed mushrooms with butter and garlic all the time, but I need something different than portos and whiteys.

I thought these were an uncommon mushroom too til the colder weather hit then everyone seemed to be growing them! There are many threads with info and also new ones right now. You can simply used pasteurized sawdust or sterilized supplemented sawdust with bran. I've seen no reason to try anything else. They do like colder temps along the lines of kings. What do you mean by carrier seeds?

"I have a bunch of carrier seeds covered in spores."
You grow them pretty much like any other wood lover, but that statement right there hints at a few gaps in your understanding of the process.
Try searching "lipa's pellet tek" and download Lets Grow Mushrooms
At least then you'll have the basics. You'll still screw it up a few times(everybody does) but once you have the bugs worked out it's not really very hard.
