Be warned however, that unless you took it under pretty clean conditions using an SAB, and avoided exposing it to open air, you should probably treat it as contamed and use agar to get it going. In fact, I like to use agar to start all my cultures.

they're just resting a bit before fruiting again. You can let it all rest after a flush or just keep misting and fanning (or forgetting if you're set'n'forget (maybe dunk first))
aborts turn caps black/dark, you'll know quite easily!

Pick them anyways. Use scissors and cut at the base. Aborts will dry up and grow mold.
The mycelium is going to get roughed up anyhow. That's ok, it's serving its purpose.

Yep, and then you'll never even need to touch the print again, you can just keep transferring to more agar plates. Pretty cool stuff.

Great thread man, Just started breezing through your thread today! A lot of terms I don't get but its ok lol I am a newbie so everything you was doing seemed a bit complicated for me.
Not sure if I should be asking you this but I plan to grow some mushrooms in a month or 2 and would you recommend a Zamnesia grow kit for starters because the video demonstration seems easy as fuck.

Dont mean to jack threads but dont use a grow kit, start by looking around the forums more frequently to accustomed to the terms and situations cultivators find themselves in.
Its an easy game, just takes patience.

sunflowers are fine they float and are easy to remove. if you get a big enough pc you should do quart jars, the bigger pc the better

that's funny, I got that same kind before I read this, and I got 12 half pint jars, my pc fits 6 at a time, my pressure cooker was donated and it not electric, that cool? and can someone please be so kind to make a short step by step for me to do this? as in preparing the jars? I know the basics, pick out sunflowers, fill up jars, put a little verm on top, poke a hole in the lid. I got these small jars because I want to watch them grow fast. I'm pretty glad im doing this instead of using pre-made spawn.
