Who here has battlefield?
Xbox, Playstation, PC?
Those of you who have played other battlefields how does it compare?
How do you like new tweaks: dumping all the bullets in your clip when reloading, remote controlled mortars, new grenades, naval warfare, commander mode, sniper scoping, the variety of gadgets, Field Upgrades, all larger vehicles having counter measures, etc
What about the maps and game modes?
Is it more of the same, simply a step in the right direction, or an outstanding experience?

I used to play the comp ones back in the day. The console ones (3-4) are garbage and incredibly boring.

I have BF2 on my PC. I don't like the console versions of Battlefied. I like shooting from far away.
In the console versions of Battlefield it's like you always a few feet away from the target.
I do wish there was civilians and animals in the game though. Opps, innocent bystanders killed and dead goats and cows everywhere.

Its an outstanding experience. Playing this after playing bf3 has a feel that they tried to cram the game to get it graphically superior. The air battles arent as fun to me as bf3 but hey w e. Im REALLY looking forward to tank and air superiority in this game.
Anyway its a hard game, ESPECIALLY multiplayer. Its worth checking out, multiplayer features include rgo grenade, a grenade that detonates on impact, and a bunch of damn bugs and glitches. Each map is fun. Part of me feels this was what battlefield 3 shouldve been, smaller characters to enhance graphics, where bf3 should be now, larger character models with more detailing. Anyway who am I to bitch, its next gen. The single player was a bummer except a few missions like the first one and the ending was interesting. Oh well, what can I say, its something to look and try, real fast paced strategic action, a difficult game definitely

Grenades are cool, the flashbangs and flares are pretty useless though
anybody else planning to get this on xbox one?Quote:

Even rush mode? I've played on PC and xbox and am content with the rush. Conquest is def trash tho, it's just too empty
Conquest was done right for consoles in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat and in Battlefield Bad Company 1; the maps were well sized and neither team had an unconquerable home base, there were usually five flags and each team had to run around getting whatever they could. If all flags were taken by one team the losing team would spawn at random throughout the map. It was populated and engaging, then they fucked it up in bad company 2 and subsequent titles, at least on the console side

I don't know about a few feet, I get decent range in rush, even for sniping; I will admit tho it is nothing compared to the super long range stuff on conquest which PC definitely has the advantage for
Would def like some NPCs walking around, maybe even hostile ones; the running of the bulls, some random airstrikes sent by the AI, police cars/helicopters, fighting in a zoo where the animals can be released, fighting in a prison where the inmates can be released and find weapons, suicide bombers, civilian vehicles
Imagine a 64 player conquest battle in a zombie filled city, Left 4 Dead meets Battlefield
