Possible NW Oregon Fall Subaeruginascens
    #19110274 - 11/09/13 12:50 PM (10 years, 2 months ago)

Are any of you pros out there interested in doing a workup on these? If so, I'm happy to give you plenty more info and a spore print.
Thanks,
Mitch

I don't see pictures but you probably found ovoids.

And I bet I know where you found them.

Ovoids crossed my mind, but they are macroscopically much closer to subs than ovoids.
I can add a couple pictures, but I only have 2 for now. I might add more if this turns out to be a find of interest.

Ganzig... wanna describe where you think I found them? I'd love to hear it.
Mitch

Nope. Can't talk about locations.

But I am 85% certain I know where that is.

Not a location... I know the rules. I mean a description of the surroundings.

Well I'm 86% sure I know where that patch is and they're ovoids.

I'm the one that covered them with leaves

What? I thought you lived in the valley. That is what your avatar says.

Everyone knows about that patch. I do not go there anymore.

Yes, and what valley does Portland lie at the top of?

I had to go take a peek, and I wanted some spores for spraying.  i just can't help myself sometimes :sporedrop:

I had fun sitting in the coffee shop and watching newbie after newbie looking for cyans walk right over them...just like I did a few years ago

Ovoids are already on the path to domination. Your efforts had already been thwarted. They're in south africa, southeast, northeast, PNW United States, and Europe. I honestly think ovoids are the "neocyanescens" woodlover capable of tackling almost any location within reason. They should be called the "globetrotting psilocybe." Lol

There is no coffee shop in sight of this patch.
So nobody who thinks they know this patch wants to describe the area, obviously without giving specifics?
I think it is pretty easy to describe and would tell nothing of the exact location.

My main interest is in a positive ID, as they are fairly unique.
They are also growing intermingled with cyans.
