microwave ovens have a problem with uneven heating...ie,you'll get hot-spots within the brf whilst ajacent areas stay relatively cool.
the hotspots can reach very high temps(water can become super-heated in a microwave)i'd be more worried about destroying nutrients in the brf than with contam issues, stick with a PC for these things.
regarding PCing a large amount of brf...dont use jars, just place the desired amount of brf in a sutible stanless steel bowl(that fits inside your PC) cover with aluminum foil and pc for atleast an hour.
i'm sure that would work.

Without enough moisture in the flour, it will burn in a microwave. Good luck.

I read somewhere microwaves aren't meant to be operated without some moisture in them. You would be risking your microwave by cooking dry rice in it... setting a separate cup of water in the microwave would cancel this out though...

you HAVE to have water, or else the BRF will heat beyond the boiling point of water and it WILL burn. Its really hard to sterilize stuff in the mic cuz it gets all deformed, etc. Just try it and ull see. You must have water thou ~MC

Microwaves are set to a certain frequency so that the only compound that they will heat is H2O. When you heat something in a microwave, it is only heating the water, which in turn heats everything else. Even if what you are heating looks and feels dry, there is water content. Heating anything dry in a microwave is not a good idea, and i would not reccomend it.

If you are so hellbent on it being dry, use the oven. if you put the flour in the oven at 400deg for 4 hours, everything in it will be dead...probably useless, too, but you can do it...
Otherwise, you can just continue on your course and kill yourself and everyone you have ever loved...no biggie...up to you either way.
