Psilocybe cyanescens shouldnt have black spores, unless you are talking about Panaeolus cyanescens which doesnt grow in Oregon.

What should the Psilocybe cyanescens spores look like? When I found these 2 they were already de-rooted, but hadn't been for long (I think a cow did it)

I have no photo's of them in 1 piece, but they got my attention because of the dark colors, wavy cap with a nipple.

color varies a little but should always be a variation of purple. Usually dark purple.
Im not sure but I dont think they are cyans, even if they are I would toss them if they looked like that Maybe wait for somebody elses opinion on em.

That looks to be a Panaeolus species, but I'll be damned if I can tell which one.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

A pointer: Stay away from plastic bags. They disintegrate mushrooms before you have a chance to do anything with them.
