How dry should my WBS be after simmer/strain?
    #19107231 - 11/08/13 07:14 PM (10 years, 2 months ago)

Using Franks PF Tek.. I've messed up previous jars from bacteria (wetty slime), I assume because either A. didn't dry enough. B. air flow hole too small with polyfill... or both.

So this time I made the hole slightly larger, and now I'm letting the seeds get dry.. but how dry is too dry?

They should be completely dry one the outside. You should be able to sit them on a piece of tp without getting it wet. I use a hairdryer to finish drying mine

Really? Is WBS really so different from rye then...? I think this is why I haven't deviated from rye - seems more complicated for no additional benefit (not that I've tried it!)

You might have noticed Frank hasn't been round a while. Bad news for the community but he is on step 4 in the Arkansaw mushroom grower trusted cultivator 12 step rehab program. Next week they let him go out to buy some peanut butter pop tarts :shrug:
