So i have my jars incubating in a cardboard box now with the temperature at a steady 72f. I am using my xbox to warm the incubator.
When i leave would it be ok to turn my xbox off? will temp fluctuations screw with colonization? (room temp is usually about 65 or under sometimes)

All mine are done at room temp. 65-70 F. No problems.
Back during the summer when it was warmer things were quicker. No big deal. I wanted everything to happen "now" back then, but I have learned to relax and let the mushies do their thing.
Peace

same...it used to feel like a race against time...checking things every hour...now as long as a tub is I do pretty much F all
Edit: my grow room quite regularly goes down to 60F at the mo which is kind of prefect...grains take about a month to be ready to spawn and a mono takes about a monthish from spawning to finishing 3rd flush - perfect and chilled
