Setting up a small grow room for the winter

Okay, so it's starting to get quite chilly where I live and I have a couple plants outside that I'm planning on moving inside for a few months so that they don't risk dying. I have a few items at my disposal, but I definitely could use some help putting it together.
Here's what I have:
- 3'x5'x8' closet
- 3' wide 4-tier metal shelf
- Ultrasonic humidifier
- 2' 4 bulb T5 light
- 4' 2 bulb T8 workshop light
I'm trying to create a nice environment for my kratom, pereskiopsis, star fruit, and citrus seedlings. My original plan was to enclose the metal shelf to keep humidity up, but my kratom is much larger than all the other plants. It's about 2 ft tall, so I'm having a hard time finding a spot for it on the shelf. Also, I'm not sure if this is enough light for everything. The 2ft T5 works perfect for my dozen or so pereskiopsis, but that's about it.
Any advice?

Youre gonna need to check some things out on the lights. First of all, bulb type? I'm assuming fluorescent. You'll need to know the temperature of the light. You want a mix of cool and warm, depending on what type of growth (vegetative or budding) you want to encourage. See link.

As for set up, I got nothing. I'm a visual person, I can't really see how the stuff you have would fit together enough to tell you how I would do it. The materials you have are definitely a good start.
EDIT: I just figured out what you meant by t5 and t8. That should be plenty of wattage, but you still need to get the right bulbs.

Yeah I'm going to try to get some pictures tomorrow.
As for the lights, I believe the T8 bulbs are 4,200K. As for the T5...6,500K. I think. I'll double check tomorrow.

6500k is for veg, the closer you get to 3500k the better the light is for flowering. As Herbal said, I can't quite picture what you've got goin on, but i would say use logical deduction, google and duct tape helps a lot.
Honestly tho, what I'd recommend is getting a tent. Cause you're gonna loose a bit of light because your walls wont be reflective. It does come down to space tho as well.
this is the setup I have. A 6.5x6.5 ft tent, a 600w HPS and a 6500k 12 bulb t5. It's a freakin dream. But it all comes down to finances.

He's right about the loss of light but you can put a reflective layer on the inside of your chamber for not too much money.
Elastomere paint, mylar, or even a few of those survival blankets.

Depending on your location, grow stores usually have a plethora of different reflective materials, in a variety of sizes.

One very good light reflecting material is simply matt white paint.
