Ya I'm using a shotgun fanning 5x~ a day and misting the walls whenever I fan, and I mist the cakes lightly when they don't have water droplets on them.

Are you sure about seeing a knot, if you're talking about the bulbous thing it has a really soft texture to it not sure if they're supposed to be like that

U shouldnt have to mist the walls or the cakes directly
Mist above the chamber the goal is to keep em hydrated
N mosit not to soak them they will come bro...

What?

You DO want to mist the cakes directly.....there is no other reason to mist.

Mist them directly with a fine mist until they glisten, then fan out the chamber.

We mist to replace lost moisture in the cakes, we fan out the chamber afterwards to promote evaporation.
