golden teacher genetics?
    #19104710 - 11/08/13 09:58 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

I have a question about golden teacher genetics,  why is it that they have a better chance of being weak then the other "strains" subtypes or whatever you want to call them. I have grown them 3 times now and one time they were decent and the other 2 times they were pretty weak. My b+, treasure coast, and cambodians seem to be about the same every time. Pe of course is different but at the other end of the scale. Have gt's been cloned and grown too much? I know multispore is a shit shoot but gts just seem worn out maybe. I have searched and it seems this is somewhat common so it makes me wonder is certain batches of spores come from parents that have been cloned too many times.

What do you mean with "weak"? Are you referring to potency or yield?

No...cubes are cubes....this is why we isolate single strains on agar.

Clone or isolate does not matter....starting from spores resets everything from scratch.

Ah so I guess I just keep losing the lotto with gts. The potency just doesn't seem to be there. I was going to clone a fruit off of this tub but I don't think I will. I have some more pe going so I will just try my cloning experiment with them. How do you know if they are going to be potent when doing a agar isolate?

You grow each one out and test it.

There is no way to know beforehand.

Ah I see. Im just now starting agar work. One last question if a cube is a cube is a cube why is pe special?  I had just never had a shroom work like this last batch of gt, lemon tek 4 grams dry and only lasted 3 hours and was weak sauce. So waited a week and heroic dosed 14 grams lemon tek still lasted 3 hours but felt more like a lvl 4 trip.
