Obamacare - Investment ideas

despite all the media hatred right now the affordable health care act is going to continue in its implementation. I think this presents a lot of opportunity for the investor with some knowledge of the healthcare sector and its expectations as a result of ACA.
I would really like to push some of my money in this direction, and plan to do some research before 2014 as to which stocks might benefit.
Any seasoned investors here have thoughts on this idea?

The healthcare sector has already moved quite a bit to the upside in anticipation of the new healthcare regulations. Remember, the stock market is a forward pricing mechanism, things like the ACA have been known and thus actionable for a long time now. Case in point, look at the XLV (a popular health care ETF that functions as a diversified basket of several healthcare stocks). The thing has been going up more or less in a straight line for two and a half years now, from a low of $29.64 in 2010 to last week's all time high of $53.50. While there may still be room to run, often the market tends to "sell the news" once what has been anticipated, ultimately comes to fruition. In my view, much of the move has already been made. Not to say the sector won't continue to do well, but the investment thesis of healthcare companies benefiting from the ACA has already been in play for years.

Which also proves the point, Obama Care is NOT a socialist program, the capitalists love it, and the massive run up in the stocks says everything.
