Water deposit weeds problem

Hi,
Can anyone point me on what to do to avoid that weeds grow in my water deposit? I have a 300 liter water deposit which feed the pump and nozzles to myst the mushrooms, but after 3 or 4 days the green weeds start to grow up inside the water. This is bad because it could wreck my pump. Any thoughts?
Thank you,
Peter

Green weeds...? Like cyanobacteria? Wiki it, it's a *very* not good thing to have this around a grow.
Pics?
Either way doesn't sound good or I'm misunderstanding your post.

Hey i found a solution, look what i found:
If the tank contains small polyped stony corals (SPS), there may be reason to pause to consider if the livestock can tolerate 72 hours without light. Several people, including this author, have left the lights off over their SPS-laden tank and were very pleased with the amazing results. What happens is the cyanobacteria is starved without a light source, and thus dies back sufficiently that when the lights turn on again, it is gone. An additional perk is that the water clarity will be incredible; all four walls of the aquarium are completely clean of algae, and the sand and rock will be cyano-free. The protein skimmer should be cleaned out daily, especially on the third day because that is when the die-off will be exported quite heavily.
Remove the light source, in this case light of the sun, and you are killing the bacteria.

You can never truly get rid of cyanobacteria. If it was possible we wouldn't have an atmosphere.

I understand, but you see, if we have a closed water bottle that we usually buy to drink, you can leave the bottle for days and days but they will never grow cyanobacteria inside it. I think its because it haves chlorid, at least it appears all bottles in some percentage. Perhaps dropping some chlorid would help?
