Making the digestion/onset of mushrooms easier

Howdy folks,
So tonight my buddy and I are going to split a little over an 8th and dose at the beach around 8PM. I am very excited, but as always with psychedelics, I'm dreading the come up that always has been feeling nauseous and nervous. I've thrown up once on mushrooms, and almost every time I've done a psychedelic (2ci, mushrooms, acid), I have diarrhea or overall indigestion.
I especially want to avoid this annoyance this time because I won't have access to a real bathroom, and I hate shitting in nature (but I am bringing tp).
So what can I do to avoid, or at least diminish the uneasy trip onset? Besides making a tea. .

Are you 100% sure it's an actual physical reaction and not because you are plain nervous / uneasy... maybe triggered by one bad experience?
I've only tried once, but I had zero bad effects except for a stomach ache which I attributed to the things I was "seeing" and dealing with doing the trip.
I chose to let completely go... to just let myself be engulfed by the feeling and the experience, without holding back.

lemon tek... it has killed the nausea for everyone i've tried it with, & it comes on so fast you don't have time to get anxious...

Don't eat anything for atleast 6 hours before you want to trip. You will feel hungry but once you get those mushrooms in your belly and digesting you won't feel hungry anymore. You may still feel nauseous but seriously, not eating for a while will help diminish that and keep you from puking. If nothing else is in there the chances of barfing are much more slim.

my technique is a 2 part dose over 20 minutes and a 3 part dose every 15 minutes for larger doses, I generally take 2 g at a time.

I think it's a combination of the two. I defiantly have nerves that lead to my unsettled stomach, but I also don't have a gallbladder from when I had liver surgery as a baby. I'm sometimes more sensitive to certain foods (yet I rarely vomit, I just get a lot of problems the other end).
I already feel a little nervous in my stomach, but it could also be whatever I ate the last couple of days as well.
Thanks for the replies, I will be leaving for my trip in an hour and dosing in about 2!

Make tea.
Seriously. I used to make it and chill it, take it to the beach, quaff it down once I got there, and trip happy for hours.

A slower onset suits me better. I tend to have less pre-trip anxiety if I'm eased gently into the experience.
I eat fresh mushrooms. I dice them and swallow them like pills. Slows the onset, but would probably make your nausea worse. I don't get shroom nausea.

There is a supplement popular amongst athletes called L-Glutamine - an amino acid which is brilliant for digestion. I have some digestion issues and take 1000mg with my main meal. I also take the same whilst eating shrooms and it helps enormously. I also find it a good idea to eat some sugar with the shrooms (chocolate, whatever). I think the brain/body has a hard time adjusting to the changes induced by psylocybin and goes into fight/flight mode with the fear. Consequently resources are diverted from the stomach to other parts of the body (gearing up for a fight). I find some sugar helps me avoid a blood sugar drop and smooths the onset some, in turn helping digestion. Incidentally, when i started eating sugar with shrooms i stopped seeing clowns etc on the way up too.

No, it's much simpler than that. Serotonin is a signaling molecule in the gut as well as the brain (regions produce their own supply) and psilocin interferes with digestion because of that.
PS
PS I hate clowns. What I see are Mayan glyphs covering the walls.

I must let you know that you completely made my day by using the word "quaff". I haven't met anyone else who uses that haha!
Easily amused Also beach tripping on mushrooms sounds divine!

im a fan of gradual dosing myself. i find if i get over the hump and come up on a lower dose, i can end up going to town on em at a certain point, and still reach amazing states, with the initial dose not diminishing any, and only enabling me to get super spun, alot less abrasively. both physically, and mentally.

I dose every 15-20 minutes with tea. Usually around. .5-.75 g worth per shot over 90 minutes. I can feel the trip 'float' up and fall lightly into the peak. Instead of the blasting through space feeling and body load its much nicer.
Also.. set &setting. Have something do do after you dose for a half hour or so. Take a shower. Feed the dogs.. ect. Then retreat to your trip spot.
Set &setting

Howdy!
So an update: There ended up being a very small quantity that my friend had. He got them for free because he smogged someone's car, but I didn't even get the slightest effects.
I write this because on Friday I am tripping (it's Wednesday evening here), and I plan on either going to the Beach or these botanical gardens. Because I'm driving, the person I'm going with is leaving it up to me to decide.
I'd rather go to the beach because there'll probably be less people and it's free, but the gardens have a bathroom and is really trippy. It's really matter of do I pick bathroom access or privacy/saving money. Thoughts?

I'd say the beach!
