Naw just birth the ones with pins. Leave the others for the week minimum. I usually just put mine in a big ass bucket. However you do it just make sure they are fully submerged.

If you wait too long to birth those cakes, pins are gunna press tight against the cake/jars interface making it 10x harder to birth them.. its a pain when they get some significant size to em
their looking wonderful thou

I say give em another day if there small still. But if there pinning then at least you won't have to wait long to see fruits. Strange that you are getting so many invitro pins, how long have they been consolidating?

I'd take em outta the ziplock and put em straight into that pot, then fill it right up and use a plate or something to weigh them down so they are completely submerged. This will force the water into the heavily consolidated mycelial mass.

Great, it don't mean what you think it does but some people like the look of strong blue. I do like strong bruising myself however one of my favorite cultures bruises green.

12-10-13 i decided to birth the rest of my jars that are colonized because they all show signs of pinning after opening a jar i noticed this cottony fluffy stuff on top of the dry verm layer

another one of the jars has this same stuff on the side of the cake

could these be contams should i throw the cakes away that show these signs i also found a jizz like substance on several cake around the invitro pins

While a "jizz like substance" does not sound good, I'd dunk em an fruit em anyway. I'd be more concerned with anything that looks powdery. Give it a smell, dirt smells and smells like trash or rotting fruit are no good of course, but otherwise dunk em. Probably just some metabolites and condensation.

I doubt it, cobweb is not that common in jars, looks like some fluffy mycelium that colonize the verm. If it is cobweb you will know because it will grow like mad in 24 hours cause it can cover the cake in that time. It doesn't look like cobweb IMO, but I have only had it once. Cobweb is easy to get rid of anyway. I wouldn't pitch a cake cause it had cobweb.
