I just need to find a girl who will clean if I cook. I don't mind cooking, but I HATE cleaning up after.

Dishwashers help, I'm not talking about women though
I'd rather have a woman cook for me if I did the dishes.

But when you are the only one that cooks it's pretty tough.. when the person you are with isn't into alternating nights and is only interested in having a meal cooked for them it's a lot of effort after two years haha.
I don't understand people who don't like to cook at least occasionally.
I love cooking.
I think I actually like cooking more than eating.

I know right like it's come to the point where we only need certain things to survive and people can't even take the time and effort to learn how to do that for themselves. There are few better feelings than cooking a delicious meal. but hey if somebody is at least willing to help with dishes I will gladly cook every night!

I despise doing dishes, even if its just loading the dishwasher.
I wouldn't mind it if people learned how to rinse off their dishes, but I guess that's too much to ask.
I always feel so dirty after messing with dirty dishes, I have to take a shower to feel clean again.

Well I work in a kitchen.. so there is no avoiding these duties. I used to hate it, especially cleaning out all the shit at the bottom of the sink. Now I just try and forget about it, and shower regularly lol.

Sounds like a fair trade. I mean, if a guy is nice enough to cook dinner, isn't that the least his lady could do? I'm finding that more guys are into cooking than I thought, which is awesome.
I never cook, so I am getting takeout far more than I would like to admit, but I justify it by telling myself that it stimulates the economy, gives a cook his paycheck, etc. Anything so I won't seem so lazy.
I don't know, I just can't be bothered to cook. I'll gladly bake, though. Brownies are my specialty.

Maybe like 1-2x a month. I used to eat out every damn day getting take out and going to restaurants. Also depends on who I'm hanging out with as I have some friends who are foodies and loooove to eat out.
I also didn't know how to cook for the life of me. Now I'm pretty good in the kitchen, and I'd rather chill with friends and get stoned and have a glass of wine while dinner's cooking than go out to eat nowadays. It's just a much more chill environment and the food is extra good right after you smoke .
It's also much healthier and way more frugal.
I was never big on fast food, I eat it a couple times a year.

Usually for lunch I will 3x a week or so with co-workers, especially if I have a coupon or a Groupon.
I eat out mostly for special occasions. Personally, I think that I cook better than 90% of your average run of the mill restaurants. Places like TGI Friday's or Applebee's or Islands don't impress me at all, and I feel like I wasted my money when I eat at places like that. So I only think it's worth it to go to 4 star restaurants, places where chefs are highly trained and obviously more skilled than me. Or if they can make something that I can't prepare myself, such as nigiri style sushi or carpaccio or yukke beef tartare, or things I am squeamish about cooking, such as a live lobster. Or if they serve exotic things that I can't find at the grocery store, such as escargot or ostrich meat. Or if they serve cuisines that take over 8 hours, sometimes even days to prepare, such as duck confit or REAL pho. These aren't exactly places that you go on the reg, so I mostly go when I'm celebrating something.
I do like to go to these types of restaurants for lunch though. A lot of upscale restaurants might serve a really expensive dinner, while having a relatively cheap lunch menu (around $10 for lunch, less than $15 with tax and tip).

I've become genuinely disgusted by mass produced meat. I don't even buy meat from the supermarket anymore -- with the exception of stuff from Whole Foods that is rated high on their grading system. So, since I'm genuinely disgusted, it's impossible for me to "cheat" and indulge myself because my mind sees past the taste.
The following thread is enlightening. It contains two video clips: 1. An analysis of a supermarket chicken by a gourmet chef and 2. An analysis of the fat content in supermarket chickens.

The fact that you won't even eat at a restaurant is an indication that you take the integrity of your food seriously. Just because a place has a classy atmosphere does not mean the meat it uses is any different from typical low quality stuff. And of course, our world is filled with restaurants, so it's obvious that the majority use meat produced via the standard factory farming system.

I am really happy that I was raised the way I was. My dad is a master Alaskan guide and started hunting up here in the 60's. So, we've always gone out and got our own food and get paid an insane amount of money by someone else to do it and take them along and get them a trophy too.
I've met some people that refuse to eat wild game. Someone came to my house for dinner and he knew we were big hunters and when he found out that all of the meat in our freezers was wild game he wouldn't touch it.

He said it wasn't clean from possible diseases or some non sense. I suppose some people think that meat you buy from a store is more free of disease? I thought it was fucking hilarious.
I was at Arctic Man one year and I got a lot with a buddy and his dad was there. He doesn't eat wild game meat either. His reasons were the same. I had gotten drawn for a buffalo tag the past year and I had so much buffalo meat I didn't know what he fuck to do with it so I was eating buffalo day and night. Well, I had made some goulash and when my buddies dad came around he asked if I bought it or killed it. When I told him how fortunate I was to get drawn he just started making his own dinner and starts telling me this and that about how much dirtier or more diseased the meat is or something I don't really fucking remember I was so fucked up.
