Keeping incubation temps in a cold climate

Where I live it get's below freezing at this time of year (duh), especially at night. I have been testing various locations for a whole 24 hour period each, noting current temps whenever I remember to, but paying more attention to the temperature high/low fluctuations, which range from 67F to 82F, and 74F to 110F for the two most ideal incubations points, so my options are the definition of a catch 22... Anyone else have a similar dilemma, and how did you address it? My ideas included Styrofoam coolers, or an incubator, neither of which I'm opposed to, but I'd rather have the simplest, yet still effective method available as I often leave for 9-12 hours at a time, and don't want to freeze or roast my substrates due to lack of attention... Thanks for any useful input!

67-82F sounds good to me.
Don't worry so much about getting it perfect. If you're comfortable, they will be too.

Ur good. I keep mine at a range of about 68-75F. Since its winter, it'll stay a constant 58-65F in the house so i use a small space heater with a thermostat to keep it heated in the 68-75F range. Dont ever go above 80F though. While mycelium is colonizing it creates about a 5 degree temp increase, meaning 75F is really 80F, and 80F is really like 85F which would be tad bit too warm. There is no thermal heat climb until it is live and growing mycelium though.
