Best part about all of this is you probably could have stopped and got out of your car to check the other car. There probably would have been zero damage. You were backing up and trying to avoid a curb, how fast could you have possibly been going? You hit and ran from a scene that you probably wouldn't have even had to leave a note for.

My only advise to you, Do exsactly what your attoney tells you to do.Don't tell the cops anyting, Have your Atorny presant at any interagation by the police. At this point its consider a hit and run. I think that might even be a lower case felony not sure but sure it is a mistameaner. Might even be some Jail time envloved.

Sorry dude. These are the things that matter — and it wasn't one action, it was a series of actions you took in order to evade your responsibility. Honestly, not leaving the note wouldn't have been a huge moral failing if it wasn't followed by your "fast and furious" style car chase. But, someone who had time to consider what he had done — yet still chose to accuse his roommates when confronted — is not a trustworthy or upstanding person. Sorry. The fact that you appear to have posted this thread to gain some kind of sympathy doesn't help your case, either.

Why do you hate Mexicans, bro? Why you gotta keep the brown man down like that?
The OP should lose his license and have his car impounded and sold at auction. Failing that, he should voluntarily give up his license and sell his car, using the proceeds to pay the guy who he hit.

It was a series of actions that I felt I had to take after deciding to not leave a note. No way in hell I was gonna stop for that guy following me. I am not throwing my roommates under the bus. I am gong to the meeting with the cop, and telling him I talked to my roommates and they said they haven't driven my car recently. I will then say "it must have been me, where did you say this happened again?" And act shocked when he says Taco Bell...."but I thought I just hit the curb!" But I expect someone as morally high up as yourself would want me to fuck myself over and tell the truth here. Not gonna happen lol. Takin this shit to trial if need be.

You need to pick a story, geeze.
You thought you hit something or not? You thought you hit the curb or not? You're not sure if you were even driving or not? Lastly, you're not sure if you were even at Taco bell or not?
You can't go back and forth its gonna fuck your case up

You're correct. They're going to ask him questions to corner him. A lie will only indicate consciousness of guilt. He's better off saying nothing and letting his lawyer argue his case after he sees what evidence they have.
If they have a video of him speeding away, he's gonna have to explain why he's speeding if it wasn't because he knew he hit the car. If they have a video that shows the hit at an angle that he couldn't have not known, same deal. Lying in the interview will hurt him immensely later.

Sorry I guess I am not great at making myself clear, my mind has been racing the last few days. The conversation with the cop will go as following..
"No officer I haven't been in an accident recently.."
"Well my roommates and friends borrow my car often, let me talk to them and see if they know anything..."
"My roommates said they haven't driven the car lately. It must have been me. Where did you say this happened again?"
"Oh, Taco Bell? I thought I had hit the curb! I would have never left the scene if I knew I hit the car!"
"I am so sorry! I felt something but I thought that was my front bumper scraping the curb! I have no problem running this through my insurance!"
Only problem now is the high speed paul walker chase. I guess I will deny that I even knew someone was following me, and I was late for work. Idk lol. They are going to have to be able to prove it all, I'm not admitting to anything. I have one of the best lawyers in the state. Meeting is in t-1 hour

Of course it matters. His lawyer isn't a magic man. He's got to work with the shit soup that OP has already created. If he wasn't on probation, this would probably be a simple issue of paying for the damage and calling it a day. The probation adds a degree of complexity, and OP had better be very careful how he handles it.

His insurance company is going to drop his ass, good luck finding another policy, they are going to charge him tons of money to drive with insurance in the future.
