All my pictures are drawn from imagination.  I don't even know what a mushroom is.

I'm around those same temps too, zone 6. Try covering your patch with a layer of straw to help insulate it. I am a total newbie but after much reading & lurking my first p.cyan & p.azur outdoor patch is a success. The temps hover around 50 for high & 30 for low & my patches seem to love a light spritz of water, an hour or two of daylight & then snuggled up in their straw at night. There is always significant growth the next day so I know the patch loves the tlc. It's total trial & error but these are my findings so far.

One more thing I just recently read. These cold weather wood lovers are indeed slow growers so give them time. Good luck!
