sclerotia - 2nd grow attempt - questions!

Hi Guys,
I had a pretty successful grow for my first attempt - I managed to a fair few stones from each of the 6 jars and the misses and I had a great time as usual!
Method used - RG jars - tyvek filters.
One think that I was unsure on was where to actually leave the jars while the mycelium begins to grow? Last time I inoculated then placed them directly into the airing cuboard where the temperature ranged from 25 - 27 degrees Celsius. The mycelium grew very slowly and it took a lot longer to colonize them most people reported ... Infact by the time the stones were grown, the mycelium hadn't even taken over the whole jar! Things that's I'm looking to change in my next grow are as follows; ( just need some clarification on this)
- live culture vials - I will inject the spores into this live culture vial and leave until I see the mycelium form... I know this in itself will speed the growth
- do not place into airing couboard (complete darkness) until jar is fully colonized? then transfer them to a dark place to form stones?
Any help would be appreciated! I was very happy with the end results on my last grow but would obviously like higher yield and to be happy with healthy mycelium growth
Cheers all!

G2g then set at room temperature. I love stones. If done right, its like a ronco. "set it and forget it". 3 months later, booyah.

Okay mate - but does it have to be dark?
I've read in places that they should be left in a dark place ... Other people say just leave them out at room temp.
I've watched a few videos on how they are mass produced, as far as I can tell they let the jars/bags filly colonize in light then move to a dark place for the sclerotcia to grow?

On a shelf at room temperature getting ambient/indirect light is fine.

I colonized my ALT7 jars in light and left them to form stones in light and they did just fine. Fruiting them on the other hand is taking a bit more patience.
