These online markets could be the future if asshole organizations like Forbes and Time Magazine don't keep publishing articles.
How long was Silk Road running with no problems before?
It's stupidity from the public that fucks up the undergrounds genious

Not about the bust I'm just saying once the public realizes what's out there it puts pressure on the DEA and FBI and the other dick head organizations to bring "Justice"

Theoretically the business model and the technology is foolproof.
DPR dun goofed and that's why it fell. not because of efforts by the government

That's what brought the heat tho. You think they found his drugs and didnt report anything? The cops were watching his house he was a known drug dealer and they discovered his source to be SR
We're derailing this thread

please opensource silkroad (php code?) , then I will run one , and many others will too I think :-)
wouldn't mind taking the risk maybe if the code was opensource, dont have the time to develop one from scratch (and dont want to run tor market... it sucks compared to SR)
the biggest risk is finding a server provider outside US, bought with fake id etc.
I hope the future silkroad will be on a botnet :-)
imagine, 10.000 bots, all hosting silkroad.... take one bot out of the net, the 9999 will keep serving the site/legal drugs
but we need new technology for that, tor won't work probably

being able to dcc chat get my drugs, would be nice :-)
just PM a bot
type receiver addr over irc ssl connection type in your password over irc ssl connection type in drug amount send bitcoins
suddenly you get a package in your neighbors mailbox, from over irc

like one said... the silkroad code seems flawless so far... no found bugs in code by the DEA
no problems with the idea, it's very safe, tor security hasn't been breached
but now the DEA has access to the code they might find flaws in it, so wouldn't run a new SR site without reviewing all the code first... if it was released as opensource....
for a small scale site, it might not even be necessary with fake id rented servers... should be secure enough without it, if you don't host drugs for 5million users, but limit to i.e. 5000 users
I will probably check out SR 2.0 in a few months :-)

Sorry for requesting url. Found it anyway. Also, apparently alot of people think the new road is being ran by the feds. I guess it's being regulated by moderators from the last road but i guess alot of people think it's an FBI conspiracy.

wouldnt worry about conspiracy
see if you get the drugs sent to your random mailbox
then its probably not a trap... but start low, dont order huge amounts first few times...
its not like you get a huge fine here for personal consumption
and Im a bit of an anarchist, I dont care much for laws, especially when its only for personal consumption ;-)
if you got nothing to hide at home, order home order small personal amounts anyone can order to your home addr ... anyone can send you drugs in your mailbox they got no proof, your identity is hidden on tor
they only got proof if theyre lucky you got drugs when they arrive then you will get a fine for personal amounts ;-) , know the fine system to beat the system
ofc this is all hypothetical, if you live in the US, the laws are much more insane
always remember to keep your bitcoin wallet on encrypted storage, so they cant gather it as evidence and track your transactions and always see a warrant before letting them in, anything else is stupidity busting personal amounts and getting a warrant for that sounds very unlikely... cant imagine it

I really hope this isn't a honey pot. Great fucking news! And even if it's not SR 2.0 there are so many others and the feds just realized that the computer is mightier than handcuff. It's a turning point in the war on drugs, and fuck yeah to everybody making that happen!

SR1.0 changed my mind, so I guess DPRs project has worked
before I was a law abiding citizen, gladly paying my taxes, saying no to drugs my whole life, now Im a bit of an anarchist
thanks to LSD ;-) , and weed
it does change you, when you find out the gov has lied to you even though I only do LSD rarely, every 3-6 months maybe, if I can even find some anymore
you see through the illusions of the brain, the illusions of the justice system etc.
the world needs more LSD, if it wasnt for LSD I might be dead now, thats how careless I was about myself before I was lucky to find it on SR so I try my best to spread the love I now feel everyday to everyone around me, hadnt felt that love for maybe 12-14 years
