When I speed up really fast in my car something underneath it catches onto something else. It sort of sounds like a moped.

Sometimes it stays the way it is for a few days, other times it stops when I stop my car. It's been doing this for a few years now

I say whateva :trololol:

Sometimes my car has a mini earthquake occur inside of it when I idle, it's making a lot of noises when I accelerate that sound like it's a lot of effort, and my back right window keeps going off track and rolls up outside the car(so it doesn't close right and there's space, but usually if I kick the door it'll shift it back into place, I can roll it back down, and then roll it back up). It hasn't hit the 3,000mile mark for another oil change yet, and has already had a bunch of work done to it, but I'm taking it in for inspection soon anyways..

It could really use a new paint job too, my friend smudged a giant smiley face in the hood of my car with her finger this past March and despite numerous car washes, it's still there, faintly, along with a bunch of other smiley faces people have copy catted on it walking past, I guess.
I don't mind it. I'm hoping I can get it through another year, or ideally to 190-200,000 miles before I retire it for good. It's had a hard life.
But yeah, I say whateva too.

High pitched "wee wee weee weee weee" when going straight, or turning, or at sub 50mph speeds...

Break pads, rotors, or both. Once it sounds like a hobo dragging under your car at slow speeds, you'll really know...

Wheel baring will get louder at high speed, also change tone when turning or merging, when they get really bad, it will sound like a motorcycle or train chasing you.

pump or pulley you will know, because at idle you can hear it if you rev the engine. power steering will if you are at idle and parked if you turn the wheel each way. when a belt starts to go, you mostly notice in humid weather or after it rains, they start squealing long before they break.

If there is a Midas auto shop (it's a chain/franchise) in your area. Take it to them. They usually only charge $20 for a full inspection, they wave the fee if you do the repair with them. You might get away with them turning the rotors to remove the crap surface and replace the break pads with cheap ones for 100$ in the front. they warranty the parts, so next time you only pay for labor or rotors if needed

much luck :lilpimp:

almost always, when i have this problem, its a worn out, or loose belt slipping.  you very well might just need a new power steering belt.
